The shop was clean and uncluttered (unlike others I have been in before) and the prices were right as well. In addition to the typical kitchen and household collectibles, check out the work of local artisans, like the cleverly bejeweled spiders with legs made from fork prongs. After visiting the Parowan Gap petroglyphs, be sure to grab a bite to eat and do some shopping on Main Street.

Just the roadside Ace Motel sign was present but no help. A neighbor told me they had gone into the Bucket a few weeks ago and were surprised the business was in the basement of the motel??? They felt the stairway down gave off creepy vibes. LOL. They also were told the owner had or was getting a new store front or location. So based on that tidbit I did a internet search and found a different address thru Findglocal.com. The address was 580 N Main while all I could find near there was the Family Dollar store at 590 N Main. Since that store was located next to the freeway exit, I just headed home - done with my search. Still I'll probably try again next time I'm in Parowan. . . maybe I errored somewhere along today's trek.

The proprietor was there and was very friendly, real small town hospitality. Also like many of these places you might find a diamond in the rough if you look hard enough. When we mentioned Tera's name, the tire shop got us right in and quickly resolved our tire issue. The Pink Polka Dott was perfect for us. Great location for our visits to Bryce, Zion, and Cedar Breaks. Clean, comfortable, and we loved the Art. If you do stay at the Pink Polka Dott, you've got to try the Backroads Bistro across the street. Excellent fresh food, great value, and wonderful chef who makes everything himself.

My boyfriend was in town for a work conference and let me tag along, so my week mostly involved sitting poolside and reading, but I eventually ventured into town and found myself at this great thrift shop with a ton of fun stations. I went home with a couple of shirts, and one frame picture that I had to ship via FedEx after purchasing, and I love every purchase I made. Reasonable prices and some of the sections were half-off the listed prices. Not overly crowded, in the sense that you could walk through each area pretty easily, but also obviously very popular for sellers. In fact, my uber driver said that getting a station to sell here requires a 5-year wait list, which he was already on and had been waiting for a couple of years already. If you like thrifting or just enjoy antiques and collectibles, this market is huge and has two floors to browse. There is a historic park nearby and a bakery if you need to take a break or refuel mid-shopping. Such a fun experience and very friendly staff.

This is no place to bring the kids. 2. Be prepared to pay in cash or Venmo. The day we went the CC reader was put of commission. 3. You'll need to make your own arrangements for packaging and removal of large items. Luckily, we had a friend in the area with a truck who came to our rescue. 4. The owner is an older gentleman who travels everywhere in the country and brings back license plates, road signs and other trinkets like old soda/beer cans, water glasses, CD's and so much more. There were license plates available from all 50 states that ranged from $2.00 to $18.00. I was very happy with the Utah, Arizona and Hawaii ones I was able to snatch, all for only $20.00. Cash only, no exceptions.
