This Hilton property is newer, maybe two years old. Homewood Suites has fully stocked kitchenette's including a full sized refrigerator, stove top induction burner, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, drink ware, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, Kleenex , extra roll of Angel Soft toilet paper, etc. The room was spotless, including the appliances. The king sized bed and room were thoughtfully decorated with modern amenities such as an upholstered chair and matching settee with foot rest, light fixtures, tables, desk/work area, LED lighted mirror over the bathroom sink basin. Plenty of electrical outlets, and storage cubbies and drawers and hangers, ironing board with iron and hair dryer. This was a king sized ADA reservation and my husband had ample enough room for easy maneuverability for his large motorized wheelchair. The floors were a newer style of an engineered vinyl like plank flooring. Esthetically appealing and easy to clean. Shower was nice. Small lip to step over. We had requested a shower chair with our reservation that was not in the room when we arrived. However, the front desk gal had just come on shift was more than happy to find one and accommodate us. While I was unpacking the car she met me and told me that she had left the shower chair next to the outside of our hotel room door. Service with a smile goes a long way! She was so nice!! They do serve a hot breakfast from 6 AM to 10 AM Monday through Friday. Weekend hours I honestly did not pay attention to. Today was a Monday and they had biscuits and sausage gravy, sausage links that were cooked perfectly. Two variations of scrambled eggs. One was plain scrambled eggs that were nice and fluffy. The other was scrambled eggs with bits of sausage pieces. There were tortillas, verde and red salsas, Cholula, Tapatio, Tobasco, cotilla & Colby Jack cheeses with cooked chorizo. They also had pancakes and French toast and waffles that you can make yourself with all of the accoutrements. There were individually Ziploc packages of two peeled, hard-boiled eggs, Yoplait 4 oz yogurt selections, bread and pastry selections, four cold cereal selections, overnight oats with chia seeds that appeared quite thick. Milk, 3 juice selections that consisted of peach nectar, apple juice, and orange juice. There was a pitcher of ice water, fresh hot regular and decaffeinated coffees, hot water with a nice assortment of tea bags and Nestle hot cocoa packets. Overall, an elevated breakfast buffet that the price was included in the reservation. I will applaud the housekeeping staff. They work so hard and diligently with attention to detail. I always inspect the room upon check in before unpacking my family. Not a single human or pet hair was seen on any linens, towels, sinks, shower, or toilet, and the hand towel was folded with a pocket that had a fanned out cute washcloth. Very nice welcome on the side of the bathroom vanity. Great experience for this reservation! Mattress was comfortably firm and supportive. Pillows were soft yet supportively medium firm.,Homewood Suites of Missoula, Montana....you all did a grand slam! The house is maybe a 10 min walk from popular eateries. It's right next to the doubletree that has a riverfront restaurant FINN, which I recommend going for haply hour. It's also near the library which is brand new and has amazing facilities. We even reserved a meeting room on the too floor! There aren't any cons, except for lots of stairs and creaky floors. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. There was a shania twain concert when we were there, held at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium. We could hear it pretty well from our room! The room was thoughtfully prepared. We were provided toiletries, extra blankets, cooking utensils, etc.

I seriously felt more like I was housesitting for a friend - all the comforts were there. It didn't feel stingy or sterile or manufactured like so many 'commercial' lodgings frequently do, and the ones that don't cost more than twice what the Wilma Condo charges. Everything was modern and nice, but with an eye everywhere to practicality and treading lightly on the environment, which are big pluses with me. A lot of things that didn't need to be provided were: quality soap and shampoo in the shower, nice cotton towels and bedding , and a kitchen ready for your gourmet imagination. Did I mention the fantastic views of 270 degrees of Missoula out the huge windows?! The owner was more than accommodating, especially as I'm one of those 'canary in a coal mine' fragile flowers that could drive your average proprietor crazy. An adjoining unit hosted a large dog, who barked at length several times one day, anytime it could hear someone in the hallway. The owner acted immediately when I notified him of this, getting the dog's owner to intervene - problem solved. There were also a few bumps with check-in and check-out, which he handled with grace and generosity. I am going to offer a few caveats to the uninitiated and sensitive folk out there. While you can take these as dings, they are not intended as such, and I don't consider them the owner's fault. The issue is really one of inappropriate mixed-use of the building. The street on which the Wilma is located, Higgins Avenue, is one of the busiest in Missoula, and seems to draw a lot of hollering young folk and large diesel pickups driven more like urban boomcars. Think twice if quiet is especially important to you. Also take stock of what concerts are slated for the Wilma during the time you plan to stay in the condo - bass-heavy music like hip-hop is audible through the *entire building*, even eight floors up. I was assailed by two nights in a row of this, the second night well past 11pm.
