Went here at 8 last night and had the bourbon burger with fries and caso dip. woke up at 1 vomiting and just got done vomiting for the 3rd time. I was feeling great until my meal and wold love my oney back as I didnt pay to get food poisoning ...$28 later UPDATE: I want to be fair in my review by letting you know that since writing this, I went into the establishment and was refunded my money without any trouble. I am keeping my rating at one star because I don't know if I will ever trust their food again, but I want to thank the person I spoke with at the bar for her kindness and understanding. I went to Shae's most recently with about 12 altogether, celebrating a birthday. Our party size didn't faze our server in the least. She was very friendly and accommodating. One of my faves at Shae's is their fish bite platter. Two sides. Green beans and tater tots. Yum! lol Their cheese curds and other appetizers are very good too Salads and sandwiches to choose from. I'm going to order a 12-inch pizza to take home. I've ordered it once before, at the party mentioned above. If a 12" pizza is too much for you, you can get a smaller pie, but the thin crust starts @ 12" size. So I happily shared mine around. All those people loved it also! They have a Taco Tuesday and other specials. I definitely recommend going in and making you and your friends/family comfortable, whether it's to watch various sports on the LARGE tvs or relaxing with a nice meal. Rolled into Shae's on a lazy Thursday afternoon and cozied up to the bar. Wasn't very busy when we got there, so the service was prompt and friendly. Ordered tall boy beers and some pepper cheese balls to start. Followed with another tall boy and a crispy chicken shoe that included fries and queso cheese. Was very good! My friend had a burger that looked wonderful. Food was served quickly. Great place to meet friends and to grab a meal. The menu had some terrific options. read more

I really wanted to like this place! The reviews were good. We travel a lot and stopped on our way home. My margarita was not good. I don't recommend ordering one. We ordered bone-in wings and got boneless. That's fine - we will eat them, but it wasn't what we ordered. 5 minutes after ordering our wings we ordered dinner, burgers and a side salad. ALL of our food came at the same time. :-(. I returned the side salad, not only because it came with only lettuce and cheese but because it arrived at the same time as my app and dinner!! The burger was very good and my fries were hot so that was a plus!! The bar area seemed very cool and newly designed. Server was attentive but forgetful. We were also charged for an extra ranch we didn't ask for nor use!! :-( read more

Typical small town dive bar/grill. Clean and bartender was very attentive and friendly. I asked for a cheeseburger medium rare and was told they only do burgers well done! I have NEVER been told I can't get a burger fried to the doneness I prefer! Obviously they don't have confidence in the quality or freshness of their product!. read more

Super friendly staff, great music, family-friendly local bar vibe. One if the best burgers I've had in a long time. Fried green beans with Cajun ranch are great and ask for more Cajun ranch for your fries or fried potatoes. read more

The angus burger and salad were excellent and the service was outstanding. The waitress was very helpful with recommendations on things to do and see in Arthur and Arcola. Next time we're going to try the catfish. read more

Nice bar with large dining area. Plenty of tvs for watching the game. Just got sandwiches this time. They were small for the price. Fries or onion rings were extra. There was a salad bar but we didn't try it this trip. Server was very pleasant but the service was inordinately slow considering we were the only ones ordering food. read more

The parking lot was empty and we couldn't understand why. It was a nice little place. The burgers were good but the fries and the service were cold. There was only 2 other people in the place and the bartender was too busy talking with them to even ask how our food was until she took away our baskets. Not sure I would stop in again. read more

Highly recommend. This place is fantastic. The fish is amazing as highly recommend the Rum Bucket. Staff are friendly, service is quick and food is always good. My favorite place when it is my turn to pick where we eat. read more

Great food for a sports bar. Came here for Sunday lunch on our way to Tuscola. Billiard table, darts, and video poker, along with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Heard the burgers were great. My husband got a horseshoe burger and enjoyed it. I was going to try one of the several burger options myself but decided on the soup and salad. The vegetable beef stew was good. The $4 Sunday Bloody Mary special was FANTASTIC. The bartender asked me whether I liked mine spicy and make it to taste. Will definitely be back! read more

Our first time in Arcola. The sever was very nice and the food came out very quickly! I got the taco salad, my husband got the firehouse burger and my kiddos got traditional wings and chicken tenders. Everything was good. My husband said his burger was good, and his normal response is "it's alright" so I know it must have been really good. If we are ever in the area, we would visit again. read more
