We are just passing through and needed to do laundry, but if we come here again I will not use this laundry mat. Also the floors are very dirty and I made sure not to drop anything on them. They need to clean their floors, get better dryers and post the cost on their website.

I realize it's probably being run by teens and ditzy 20 somethings, but really, with all the money in this type of product, try to be decent, and give buyers info on what the are buying. Everyone is friendly and my prints are gorgeous and so professional; clients are always impressed. At one point I needed maps made on boards but they don't do that. They sent me to another printer in town who did a phenomenal job on that... it was great to know I could trust where they sent me. Alongside my professional work, I often take on discounted or pro bono projects to help local businesses get off the ground--because I care deeply about creative collaboration and community growth. In autumn 2023, I was approached by the manager of Silver Therapeutics' Bennington dispensary about becoming a featured local artist. It felt like a meaningful opportunity. I was told my work would be showcased in-store, sold as merchandise, and promoted as part of a long-term collaboration. I was promised fair compensation. Over the following months, I created more than 60 original paintings--pouring thousands of hours into a project I was proud of. I was reassured repeatedly that payment and rollout were coming. I believed them. I waited. And then--nothing. Despite multiple invoices and months of respectful follow-ups, I was never paid. Eventually, I was ghosted entirely. No explanation. No apology. No accountability. This wasn't just financial--it was personal. This project was supposed to support my daughter and help our family through a difficult year. Instead, I was left feeling humiliated and erased. Silver Therapeutics markets itself as a community-minded, ethical business. But no ethical business treats local artists like this--especially not those who show up in good faith, create with care, and uphold their end of the agreement. I've reported this to the Vermont Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I'm sharing my story not out of bitterness, but so that other local creators and small businesses can be aware--and protect themselves before investing their time, talent, and trust. In a world where every dollar we spend is a reflection of what we value, I hope my experience gives you something to think about.

Later that day, I brought my wife in to test ride one. She enjoyed it so much, we bought it on the spot. I'd known about Vermont's financial incentive programs and asked about them. Apparently there was some confusion about how it worked, and I left thinking I had to apply for a rebate, but in fact it's a voucher program. That meant I had to apply for the voucher, then use it towards the purchase of an e-bike. I contacted the state's program and was told I had no recourse. I called the shop and spoke with Andrew, who was very apologetic, offered a solution that met with our satisfaction. What it came down to is that I can get an e-bike anywhere in Vermont. It's the customer service that will bring me back, time after time.

Walked in this morning with the intention of buying a bike and let the clerk know that that's why I was there. I told him that I wanted to look at some bikes with him as soon as he got a chance. He then proceeded to wait on other people who came in after me and I finally had to remind him that I have been waiting 20 minutes to look at a bike. After the weight and then basically told that they have very limited stock and if I wanted The kind of bike he would recommend for me that I would have to order it out of a catalog, site unseen, and I would own the bike even if it didn't suit me when it arrived. As someone who's not an experienced bike rider that just seems ridiculous. Anyway, I'm sure if you are a very experienced bike rider and know exactly what you want this place is fine. For beginners or people who haven't ridden for a long time...not so much.
