Please do not take your babies here! The woman was so rude, and the cut was HORRIBLE. But the worst part was when we went to pick my Bloo up...he was in a cage, and when she went to get him out she saw that he had had an accident and it was all over his back end. She yanked him out of the cage and started angrily cleaning him up--all of this right in front of us, mind you. She then handed him to me and he was shaking like a leaf, and his eyes...I can't even describe the terror in them, mixed with the relief of us rescuing him from her. I've NEVER seen my dog so scared in his life. I shudder to think what happened while we weren't there watching and I'm consumed with guilt for bringing him here. Please don't make the same mistake I did. I'd give this place negative 5 stars if I could. read more

I could get over the lady (owner?) not being very friendly. No smiles or warmth at all. I chalked it up to not everyone is very friendly or nice even if they own a business. However, when a dog groomer doesn't seem to enjoy the dogs... that seems like red flag #1. My yorkie desperately needed a haircut so I still dropped her off. She didn't even give me time to tell my dog goodbye even though this was our first time here. My dog can get anxious in new places and new people, and that was really disturbing to see lack of compassion. Red flag #2. One plus was my dog was bathed, nails trimmed, and hair cut in about 2 hours. So that was convenient. The ONLY good thing in this experience. However, the haircut made me cry because I know my dog was hurt. I didn't mind that it was shorter than I wanted. I didn't care about that. She honestly needed it with the summer heat. The unevenness and SHAVED down to her skin in some areas was really what bothered me. She was nicked all over. On top of that, she said she cut her nails (when I explicitly stated on the phone and in person she just had her nails cut at the vet the day before so that wasn't necessary), and she made them bleed. Red flags #3-4. I was excited because the reviews before were decent (more so 50/50 good and bad) and it's close by my house. If it weren't for the nicks, bleeding nails, and lack of compassion, I could look past the unevenness and bad haircut. But this hurt my dog and traumatized her. After this experience, I will not recommend to anyone, nor will I be taking my dog back here to be tortured. Very disappointed. read more

My shih zhu's love Shaggy Waggle! It's really easy to set an appointment with them. Every time I call they get my dogs in the next day. Normally I drop them off around 10am-11am. And normally they are waiting on me around 3-4pm because they are quick to take care of the dogs in their care. Very professional groomers and super nice ladies. The prices are very reasonable and cheaper then any other groomer here in Tulsa so I always try to leave them a tip. They have a nice clean work space and my dogs always come out looking and smelling great. I will be using them for as long as they are in business (Which I hope is LONG TIME lol) and I constantly recommend them to anyone I know that needs to take their fur baby to a groomer. The blonde lady who runs this place is the most horrible, evil, rudest person who I've ever tried to do business with in my LIFE!!! My Shih Tzu had an appointment yesterday at 2pm. They called me at 1:30pm and asked me to reschedule for the following day so that they could close early. I agreed and they reset her for 2pm today. When I dropped her off at my rescheduled appointment time, the blonde lady said they were extremely busy and it would be later before they could get to her. I explained that it was not a walk-in and that I actually had an appointment that was rescheduled by them the previous day and that she should be priority over the walk-Ins and today's appointments because her appointment was yesterday. She repeated herself and said they were busy in a very rude manor, again I kindly explained the situation and left. At 5:30pm I still haven't heard from them so I called. The lady advised me that they were busy with their walk-ins and that it's 1st come 1st serve so she was going to do my dog last. I told her that wasn't acceptable...my dog's appointment was yesterday and THEY rescheduled for today, not me! She told me if I didn't like it I could come get my dog so I chose to do that and take her somewhere else. My dog sat there scared, in a dog kennel around strangers for 5 hours for absolutely nothing! I drove up there and when I asked for my dog back the blonde lady lied her a** off! First she denied I had an appointment the previous day...meanwhile her coworker validated that she personally called me to reschedule it, then the blonde lady said she didn't know about the appointment when I told her myself SEVERAL times. I told her that I was going to leave a bad review...she laughed and said doesn't matter because she gets plenty of business so I advised her that she was a horrible person, who does horrible business with people, karma would get her and that she'd have to answer to God someday! read more

They shaved my dog and he came home with a bunch of cuts. They are very friendly people but don't seem to know what they are doing. Knowing he is a male they put two little bows to make it seem like he had pigtails. I use to like this place but i would much rather take my baby else where now. Dont recommend this place. read more

I called them for the first time and they told me to bring my big dog in right away. The place is full of nice women who definitely give the vibe that they really like animals. The place is big and they have many employees, which allows them to take more people. The price was less than quoted on the phone and cheaper than most. When I picked my dog up, he was happy and smelled better than me. This is where I will definitely be going from now on. I have all good feels about the experience. read more

Ok first off i have a big fluffy persian CAT! Finding someone to groom cats that's not 75 bucks is very rare so when i called and May answered the phone and she told me it was going to be 30 i was a bit nervous to take lily in. Lily has been getting groomed since she was 6 months old so she knows the deal. It did take awhile but i can tell May took her time with lily. When i went to pick her up May told me lily even seemed to enjoy it. After i got home and examed lily like i always do to see if her small mats were still there lily who is normally not so happy(pissed) when we get home seemed like she even was pleased with her day too. Lily look as if she had lost 10 pounds. May had done such a good job combing her out her skin wasn't even the lightess pink from the brushing or drying or shampooing. I'm very very pleased and though i live at 81st and yale and it's a pretty good ways away this is now where miss lily is going every month. read more

I have a minature schnauzer and this is the 2nd time I went there both times they didn't give him the schnauzer cut like I asked and this time he was also nicked up all over his body. When i picked him up she said you don't like it do you i said no. She knew i wouldn't like it because that's not what i asked for, then she said it will be $35. I should of left when he was backing up when I took him in to get his hair cut coco never does that at the other place they just happen to be booked so I gave the shaggy waggle another chance. The bad part is when I called they act like it's ok for my dog to be nicked up they must not really care for dogs he's part of my family so I don't think he should be hurt like that. read more

I took 3 cocker spaniels in there and asked for them to be shaved and then leave the ears a little longer. They came back with knicks and clipper lines ALL OVER their bodies! Especially their faces! And their paws looked horrible.. And didn't even touch their ears! I paid $150 for this crap! This is also the second time this has happened. Never coming back!! Minus 5*!! read more

We usually have a great experience here, but today we took Mr.Wiggles in to have his usual trim and his nails cut down, As my father came in to pick up Mr. Wiggles we come to discover that he was completely bald and butchered around his head and tail !!!!! My mother called back in to figure out what happened and the store manager was VERY RUDE and did not even give out an apology all she could say is "There must have been a MISCOMMUNICATION." My dog goes in EVERY MONTH to have the same treatment done and we have NEVER experienced anything like this. we will NOT BE coming back to this establishment if they are going to treat people in this manner. read more

Took my dog to get trimmed and got a shaved dog in return. Told them I didn't want much hair off just evened out. I am normally very forgiving if a messup happened at the groomers. I took my 2yr old long hair Chihuahua in for a grooming the least I can say is this was by far the worst experience ever!!!! I specifically stated do not cut/touch his tail. To only return to my dogs fluffy long tail to be unevenly cut & thin (by Susie) ears we're not trimmed, teeth not brush & his nails were already cut before he came in. I was highly disappointed & unsatisfactied. I requested to speak with a manager only to return 3 time until I finally got to speak with someone. They have poor customer service skills.The manager was very unprofessional with even taking my complaint. As I explained to her my visit & request for grooming my dog she said "well she didnt cut his tail & We don't do refunds." I asked well what did you do when grooming my dog. I got a lost look from the groomer (Susie) saying she brushed his tail..&trimmed genital".I wouldn't recommend anyone to take their pets to Shaggy Waggle Pet Groomer 7925 E 21st. Let me add that before I got a chance to speak with a manager, Shaggy Waggle Pet Groomer Facebook page blocked me before I even spoke with the manager regarding my complaint. read more
