Not…read moreknowing a lot about the health insurance world I chose a plan that had a decent yearly individual deductible. My plan is almost $400 a month. Having just moved to Ohio I needed a new Doctor for mental health purposes. The young lady that answered the phone could not have made me feel more like I had the plague once I mentioned I had Molina Health insurance, she indicated this was Medicaid and they don't take Medicaid. I said, I don't have Medicaid, I pay out of pocket every month for my insurance. Very degradingly she said "Molina is considered Medicaid" we do not take it". Oooof the anxiety the response gave me. So I asked if I could be a self pay patient, as I just need to see a doctor to get my mental health under control. She said we can't do self pay if you have Medicaid. I said I don't have Medicaid I have Molina. LordT if I could have only known that I would be treated like a leper I would have never mentioned my insurance plan. I really wish people were nicer in the office and realize that there are REAL people suffering from mental health problems. Being kind really goes a long way, you never know how your tone or inflection can trigger someone's mental health.

Their video conference software for the $350, one-hour psych intake appt failed, and we ended up doing that call by phone. Dr. Molina was in a huge rush to get off that call--even though it should have been an hour--that it was disconcerting for us. He hung up after half an hour, leaving a lot our questions unasked and unanswered. The followup appointment was supposed to be in person. We drove 45 minutes to get there, only to learn that Dr. Molina had cancelled his in-person appts for the day, and no one had bothered to notify us. We had even scheduled it further out than desired so it could be in person, if I remember correctly. In the end, they sat us in a grubby office with an old laptop, and we did the appointment that way. On top of which, Dr. Molina's medication recommendations were neither useful nor evidence-based. Would not recommend. There are psychiatrists out there who are in it for the people and (not just) the money--find one of them.

We started coming here after our counselor suggested seeing a psychiatrist for handling our ADHD medication. We have been so pleased with the care, compassion, and time they devote to making sure my boys are safe and healthy. I highly recommend them!!

She put me on the same medication that I told her made my sister's illness far worse, and I proceeded to fall in the worst depressive episode of my life after she insisted/ pressured I take it. Never felt listened to. Never referred to a single note, she "took", and made me reexplain everything always. Not knowledgable a ton on different types of illnesses and medication interactions. I can't speak for the other psychiatrists, but DO NOT GO TO HER! She serious made me feel so much worse and constantly invalidated. She seriously held me back from my potential, and is simply not qualified.

I felt comfortable and was able to be open and honest about how I feel and was able to get follow up appointments very easily. The quality of care I received was some of the best in the field I've ever had. This is the most unprofessional experience I've encountered from a therapist. You are there to seek help for anxiety/PTSD and this is the response I get? This is not how anyone should treat a patient or even a person for that matter. I walked out of the office shaking and crying.
