Charge you for parking as well they don't certify! Matt horrible provider making me feel as if I'm falling behind in my own healing is the worst feeling ever. I obviously want to be myself again, so the fact that he said I was behind knowing it was his responsibility and the primary doctor beforehand is absurd, knowing the condition I'm in no meds were spoken to me other than ibuprofen no communication if it was being sent to my pharmacy or not. I waited over 4-5 months (from October 2022 to February 2023) in excruciating pain just to see Dr. Raad, after being assured that he would personally handle my case. When he finally walked into the room, the first thing he said was, "I don't even know what's going on with you--I haven't looked at your file or X-rays." That alone was deeply discouraging after such a long, painful wait. Despite my clear request months prior not to be referred to his partner, Dr. Raad attempted to pass me off to him anyway. This kind of bait-and-switch approach is not only unprofessional, but incredibly insensitive to someone dealing with severe, daily pain. Worse, I later learned that much of the information I was given was false. Dr. Raad told me that only Valley Presbyterian would accept me for surgery, and that there would be a 4-6 month wait (Lie #1). He also claimed no surgeon in LA would perform bilateral hip replacement in one surgery (Lie #2). Within just one week, I found a highly qualified orthopedic surgeon who scheduled my surgery at Glendale Adventist--a far better hospital--and confirmed that a bilateral procedure was not only possible, but preferable for a quicker recovery and less overall trauma. It became clear to me that Dr. Raad prioritized patients with top-tier insurance and had no genuine concern for my well-being. He also claimed there's "no difference" between anterior and posterior surgical approaches--yet his own videos highlight the benefits of the anterior approach. Why offer it, and why promote it, if you believe it makes no difference? This experience felt like a betrayal of trust. After months of waiting in pain, I was misled, dismissed, and nearly funneled into an outdated, less effective surgical route--all while being told things that simply weren't true. If you're suffering and looking for real help, I urge you to look elsewhere. Patients deserve honesty, compassion, and care--not delays, deception, and indifference. Do better read more

Dr Rad performed a total hip replacement on my left side 3.5 months ago. During our initial consultation, and in a pre-op appointment, Dr Rad spent adequate time briefly discussing the options and surgical procedure. I had to wait a couple months to have the surgery due to his busy schedule. I stayed one night in the hospital. Discharged without incident. Hip replacement is a big surgery, not to be taken lightly. And I was nervous about how things would turn out. The surprise was that after the surgery I had no pain in that area unless I tried to move. So no pain at rest, and using only Tylenol, made my life a lot easier in the recovery process. I have to attribute this to Dr.Rad's surgical skill! I want to take this time to thank Dr. Rad and his staff from the bottom of my heart. I'm a 42 year old ex-pro athlete my left hip was completely destroyed bone on bone including a cyst right at the joint. The hip was so bad that the bones fused together I had 0 range of motion and the pain I was in was unbearable at times which accounted for many sleepless nights. My life was in complete disarray I could no longer work or do anything that involved me moving around too much. Thank the universe for Dr. Rad not only did he go over all of the risks regarding a total hip replacement he was firm and realistic on the expectations. My surgery was not easy by any means due to how bad my left hip was. It was like his hands were guided by god, I'm 3 weeks out of surgery and I feel great aside from the surgical aches and pains I feel like a new man. I'm healing very fast and exceeding all expectations. If you are suffering from joint pain I highly recommend Dr. Rad in fact Dr. Rad is a must for you. Everyone was very friendly and professional -- and indulgent when I did get confused about something. This review is for the front office staff not the doctor himself. I called today Friday 7/8 at 4:40 pm to schedule an appointment and I was placed on hold. I called again from a different number at 4:53 and told the front girl that I was on the other line waiting and that I know the office closes at 5 and asked if I am waiting until 5pm for the line to drop? She said yes the line is going to drop at 5 and then she proceeded to ask me how can she help me. I said Im just trying to re-schedule an appointment I missed. She then replied and asked if she could call me back Monday because she already turned off the systems and with a lazy laughing attitude she said she's trying to go home. I asked her why would she pick up the phone at 4:40pm and put me on hold for 20 minutes if the systems are shut down? She said it wasn't her sorry and anyway she needs to read through the doctors notes before scheduling me an appointment. Fact is you answered the phone at 4:40 and the office closes at 5pm. If whoever answered wasn't bored out of her mind falling asleep in the front desk trying to go home she had 20 minutes to read through the notes and schedule my appointment if possible. I think it's more than enough time that she could not use wisely. It does not make sense to answer the phone anymore at 4:40pm and leave patients on hold for 20 minutes if the systems are already shut down at 4:40pm. Just let it go to voicemail at 4:40pm instead of leaving people on hold or in my opinion just say the office closes at 4:40pm. read more

I had to deal with another Ortho who rolled his eyes after he asked me to answer a question about my injury and I needed a new professional doctor for a second opinion. Dr. Rad was my specialist physician. He provided me with a quick diagnosis and came up with a plan of action with no time wasted. We had an orthoscopic procedure schedule for November but was moved to early September -which never happens- with his care and consideration of my condition. He has been great on following up after the procedure and has given me great advice on making sure the tear to my meniscus doesn't happen again. My life could be drastically pulled into a different direction if it wasn't Dr. Rad who has been taking care of my ankle. Two years ago, when the ambulance dropped me with two fractured bones at the emergency room, I was randomly assigned to Dr. Rad as his patient. Today, I felt so lucky to have him as my orthopedic surgeon. Lately, I asked Dr. Rad if it was ok to take out all the metal plate and screws in my ankle. Dr. Rad listened very carefully with my concerns and made sure I knew all the terrifying risks. Several weeks later, the surgery was performed. And the result was amazing. No pain, no vomiting and no nausea. Just sleepy. Per my request, Dr. Rad also made sure to create a beautiful wound line over my old scars to help minimize the new scars. He then followed up with me two weeks after the surgery to make sure I was doing well and see if I need anything or have any questions or concerns. Words can't express my appreciation to Dr. Rad and his team for turning my accidental tragedy to a better story, especially during this pandemic period. If you need a full knee replacement, Dr. Rad is your surgeon! I was in a car accident and required both my left and right knee replaced. I was reffered to Dr. Blau who saw me the next day. He is very kind, patient and understanding. He immediately came up with a game plan for care.
