    If you're looking for a new medical office for a hand specialist? Let me tell you I would not come here or recommend it. I personally haven't had to be a patient but looking from the outside in and based off how my girlfriend has been treated through her 2 visits I wouldn't recommended at all unless you have half a day to waste. The staff overbooks patients then blames it on the doctor being behind. We showed up for her first visit on time and we had to fill out paperwork which is understandable but upon finishing the paperwork we were still met with a wait time of up to an hour when we were the first in the door and to sign in. While turning the paperwork in we had informed the front desk if we should authorize my girlfriends attorney to be able to send any paperwork and notes to them and the front desk told us it wasn't necessary that we would be able to do it later, well later came and we called to see if it was possible to email them the paperwork/notes but they said they weren't allowed to. We asked if possible to send to her personal email and we were met with that my own girlfriend wasn't able to get her own records. So upon the next visit we came 20 minutes early to the appointment not being the last to check in but ended up being the last ones to be called, due to them taking other patients ahead due to them "not being able to wait" or "due to other plans". My girlfriend then tried to get her notes from the previous appointment and the new appointment yet they said they wouldn't be ready for 24 hrs so she asked if they could email but said no that they wouldn't be able that she'd have to come in, but my girlfriend cannot drive or move her right hand due to the doctors orders. They also wrote down in the notes that my girlfriend was unprofessional and had an attitude which was just frustration due to the way she was being treated and handled. Lastly Dr.Oheb is a bad doctor and human threatening my girlfriend to take down an honest review saying that he won't see her again and that her insurance is charity work. Would never recommended to my worst enemy that's how shitty this office is.

    Had surgery yesterday evening and although a bit stressful, Dr. Oheb and his surgery team made the experience seamless and easy to handle. I felt SO comfortable with Dr.Oheb as a surgeon, that I actually felt relatively relaxed. I now firmly believe that I couldn't have made a better choice on surgeons!     This doctor is perfectly fine with his medical practice running like this and his patients being treated with so little respect by the obnoxious staff members. I arrived on time for my first appointment and was kept over two hours. The last 30 minutes or so I was just waiting alone in the exam room. They dump you in there and just leave you. Meantime, it sounds like the staff are having a party outside, showing total unprofessionalism and disrespect to the patients. I was there to see Dr. Oheb to discuss surgery on my extremely numb and painful hands. Finally, after the long wait, Ben came in and apologized most profusely for the long day and saying how angry it makes him when they overbook like this. He examined my hands and I explained my history and how important it was to get the carpal tunnel surgery ASAP (I was previously seeing another hand surgeon and was just about to get the surgery done at the end of last year when my insurance company left CA) It had taken weeks to get this appointment. I asked for cortisone shots in both wrists and was told NO because that would have to wait for authorization. I asked where the doctor was, and he said oh he's out of town you're seeing me. No-one told me that I wouldn't be seeing him and apparently only the Doctor himself can set the ball rolling on surgery, so this was a wasted trip. I would have to come back the following week. Ben asked me to come up to the front desk with him and in front of me he instructed the receptionists that I was to be scheduled for next week with Dr. Oheb to discuss surgery and cortisone shots. He instructed them that when I arrive next week, I must be shown in straight away and not be kept waiting. He would take the heat for it, and they were to mark it on my chart. By the time I finally got out of there it was past closing time. This parking lot has paid parking and a barrier. It does NOT take credit cards and you must have cash - up to $10.00. Of course, Dr. Oheb doesn't validate. I asked the receptionist where the ATM was, and she said downstairs. When I was downstairs, there was no ATM. So, I stepped out of the building and could not see an ATM. I tried to go back into the building and the sliding doors were now locked as they had kept me so long the building was closed. Then I saw a pharmacy with an ATM sign, so I walked over to it, and it was also closed with the ATM inside! I was basically locked with my car inside this parking lot. So, I drove to the barrier, hoping to find some help and was hugely relieved to find the barrier was up and I was able to get out. It was a very traumatic experience caused by the inept staff of Dr. Oheb. Despite my better judgment, I returned yesterday for my 11.15 a.m. appointment. I arrived on time (just like before) and signed in and sat right in front of the receptionist's desk. The waiting room was quite full. I inquired and they said "yes you are checked in." After waiting for some time, I saw Ben walk past behind the counter and I waved to him. He came out to see me and said I remember you let me check what is happening. I saw him go up to one of the employees and I heard her say to him we have 5-6 patients ahead of her and she doesn't get to go first. Ben then walked sheepishly away without looking at me. After about an hour I asked one of the receptionists why were they running so late again and she came up with "because we were dealing with a lot of traumas this morning." What is this now an ER? Don't insult my intelligence. I was getting ready to give up and leave, but I had been assured a pain shot in one hand and I'd already waited this long. I asked an employee and she said there are still three people ahead of you, it will be about 45 minutes. I waited (the photo here is the empty waiting room). They deliberately made me the very last person to get called in. I guess that will teach me for expecting to go in when I arrived on time! I was now alone in the waiting room. And yet I still waited, and now the afternoon crowd of patients started to file in. I'd gone through the lunch break. Finally, I was called in and Ben came in and said how he was boiling mad! (blah blah blah). I asked about getting two cortisone shots but was told that I could have only one due to being exposed to the risk of raising blood sugar!!!! Then someone else dropped by and put this needle etc. (see picture) on the exam bed. Finally, after a total of more than a 2 hour wait, Dr Oheb graced me with his presence. Told me he would do one shot only, but then not the another one for 8 weeks! I went ahead with the one shot! Both Ben and Dr. Oheb were happy to tell me to feel free to go elsewhere if I'm not happy. Seems they must say that a lot! BTW - shot didn't work, symptoms persist! And the cost of the parking was the full $10.00! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

When I called in Greg answered the phone and was very argumentative and aggressive over the phone. Had no empathy for the situation all he cared about is if I left a message. He proceeded to keep me on hold "to check the voicemail" even though I had told him I had not left one. I am running a high fever so after being on hold over 5 minutes I called back to let him know I will reschedule once we feel better. He refused to let me talk and kept me on hold once again. I hung up and he called back so I asked to speak to the office manager Karen who has previously also has been rude to me in person. I let her know I wanted to complain about Greg and once she didn't show interest I asked for an email so I can put my complaint in black and white. She did not want to provide it until I told her I can also put it on yelp if she'd like. I will wait for next appointment to speak with the doctor directly.

The medical care was okay, but the customer service is one of the worst, if not the worst that I have ever received. I left numerous messages for someone to call me back in order to get a prescription for physical therapy, which was being required by the place where I was doing PT. After I left numerous messages and after calling numerous times and eventually pressing an option to reach different departments, I was finally able to reach a live person in the scheduling department. That was the only way I was able to get someone to call me back. I was finally able to get a new prescription for physical therapy, but not before I had to miss 3 weeks of physical therapy because no one from this doctor's office called me back in time. All of that doesn't even include the calls that the PT agency that also made calls to this facility to try to get a renewed prescription...no one ever responded to them. It's ironic that they're outgoing voicemail message clearly states that they will call you back within 24 hours. What's the point of receiving medical care from a place who neglects your medical needs. It seems unethical

I'm in a lot of pain and it's getting worse not having critical treatment or even imaging! I called today for an update, I was put on hold AGAIN for 18 minutes! I called back and I get their voicemail. I have never encountered anything like this before. If this doctor valued his own practice, this would have been addressed immediately and they would have had me come in again for a proper exam and treatment plan. Now I have to see my doctor again and tell her about this (as well as file a grievance with my insurance company) and so she can assign me another podiatrist, that I'll have to wait for another authorization for.

Knee problems can just totally suck, they are debilitating, and I have family members who had them too, including knee replacements, so this runs in the family. Anyhow, we'll see where it goes but it looks like they know what they're doing! The only drawback is - and if you know Encino, you know this already - parking! You can park in Gelson's across the street, or maybe you can find street parking if you're really lucky. But if anyone working at Gelson's sees you using their parking lot when you're visiting one of the neighboring buildings, they will have you towed. I almost got towed one time in a similar situation (not Gelson's but somewhere else.) The parking for LA Orthos is the Hodes Parking structure on the same block as the building and it is $8 per hour. Actually that's cheaper than the going rate nowadays - usually it's $10-15.

The doctor diagnosed me with a 4-5 mm disc protrusion at L4-L5. To confirm the accuracy of this diagnosis, I consulted two online neurologists, sharing my MRI results with them. Both doctors confirmed the diagnosis and provided me with a treatment plan. Based on the reviews, I decided to visit an Los Angeles Orthopedic Surgery Specialists, hoping for a more detailed consultation with a doctor in person. When I arrived at the clinic, I provided my MRI results and shared my story. However, the doctor told me that he didn't see any issues on the MRI and claimed everything looked normal. I was surprised and explained that the diagnostic center and two neurologists had confirmed the disc protrusion. He insisted that diagnostic centers can be inaccurate and suggested I get another MRI at their clinic. Naturally, I declined, as my existing MRI clearly showed the problem. When I asked for advice on what to do next, he simply told me to walk more, which seemed inappropriate given my condition. He didn't provide any effective recommendations, just printed out a piece of paper with some exercises. I asked him to assess the extent of nerve damage in my leg, as I had read that a doctor could evaluate this by examining the affected leg's response and comparing its strength to the other leg. I practically had to force him to perform these tests, as he initially just repeated that he didn't see any issues and suggested medications I was already taking, prescribed by other doctors. In the end, I left feeling very disappointed and deceived, as the doctor did not seem competent in my case. Additionally, I paid $150 for the consultation and was very upset by this. Be very careful when choosing a clinic.
