There are good and bad things about this salon. I have had waxing done with Saroj, and she is really sweet, efficient and good. She does a good job with eyebrows and works with you until you get the shape that you want. I also believe the pricing for this salon is reasonable. I have been very pleased with customer service overall - I went late in the day once, and I didn't feel rushed and was offered a bottle of water before leaving, which I appreciated. Today, I wasn't so pleased with my experience. Saroj was great as usual, but someone walked in on me while waxing, and while I was paying, I complained about this, expecting to get maybe a few bucks off. The lady with whom I spoke ended up being the person who walked in on my service and only apologized when I brought up the incident. She didn't offer me any discount or anything that would entice me to return. She advised me that when I return, that I should specifically ask my aesthetician to not be ok with the door opening, which I thought was placing the blame on someone else. Regarding the discount for my dissatisfaction, she then said, "If I do this for you, then I would have to do it for everyone." Could it be that there are a lot of dissatisfied customers, or is this due to a desi clientele? This same person at the front desk was the same individual with whom I scheduled an appointment. I discovered later that she neglected to tell Saroj about the appointment, and Saroj almost took another walk in customer before me - I managed to prevent this by saying that I made an appointment. I'm not the type of person to demand a discount or a free service just for the hell of it, so I was very disappointed with the customer service today on multiple levels. If you just would like to get eyebrows done, this place would work fine, but I'm not sure I would recommend this salon for any other service, and I'm not sure that I want to return. This place is awful! Went in for a blowout and they didn't even own a round brush. This place is a joke!

They just don't care even if you are regular customer. They don't take ph appointments. I find most of the people working in the salon are rude and even if I happen to like to someone I never see them again in salon. Its very difficult to trust someone new. They should try to retain their employees specially who are best at their skills. read more

I recently visited them, since I generally go to Lakeme Salon which is right across where I live. But last Sunday I had a night flight to catch and while finishing up some errands it was about 6:05, so when I went to Lakeme Salon, they said they were closed for the day. I did request them being a regular customer if they could still take me, since I had to travel out of town, but they said they were all leaving and could not. So I yelped salons in the area and came across this one, called the to check, amazing customer service on the person who answered the phone, plus everyone was extremely friendly. This place is full of unprofessional and untrained beauticians (if we can even call them that) . When I went for threading, I overheard 2 ladies who work there discussing something like 'will you try or shall I ' although I didn't give it much thought then ( in the end , I understood what that meant , they were just 'trying' and I was their guinea pig) .The first woman ended up doing my eyebrows and that was THE WORST experience I'd ever had in any salon 1. she was doing it soo roughly I thought I might bleed n when I asked her to slow down, she acted like she didn't hear me 2.She did such a bad job that in the end I had 2 eyebrows pointing in different directions ! N ofcourse red sore skin around them. I asked her to fix my eyebrows and to at least make them look similar . This was when the 2nd lady joined her and both of them kept on arguing stupidly that my eyebrows looked perfect and neat.This really got me infuriated ,at least if they had apologized I would try to understand . If they call this kind of work 'perfect' they are definitely blind n who wants a blind beautician meddling with their face . I ended up going to this get-together the next day looking weird with a red forehead and funny eyebrows . I would give this place a 0 rating or maybe even a -1 if possible . read more

Exclusively for women only.. They cut in their way no matter what we suggest them. I had disastrous hair cut. Guys beware of it.

This is the worst place I have ever been to. I went to their Frisco location with a picture for a hair cut. She messed up my hair so badly that I had to leave and get it cut again just to fix her mess. Now my hair is boy short. One side of my hair was visibly shorter than the other side by about two inches. To make matters worse she refused to accept the fact that not only my hair does not look like the picture, but that she has given me an extremely bad cut. Please avoid this place. read more

Not all of the ladies know thread eyebrows well. Siru is the best at eyebrow threading, I definitely recommend her but she is really hard to get a hold of sometimes. You can't beat getting your eyebrows threaded for just $4. read more

Its one of the worst services i encountered.The place is a mess and they lack the basic culture of welcoming customers.Each worker is busy in their own gossip and not to mention for the service i was offered :Threading. Why does it have to bleed? I have had threading since last 12 years and not once did i encounter such erratic services. Its quite a bit cheap when compared to rest of the neighboring salons but more than difference in dollars,the moment you step out you would only be left with regret and discontentment. I told the women who was offering services that it was bleeding and the answer was yes as if i was looking for her judgement.its more like a women chatting cafe than a parlour.I hope you improve your customer skills not by just asking the stupendous details of customer but by making them your priority and dedicating your skill and time efficiently such that you dont encounter another review of this type. read more

the worst hair cut I ever had. .. I went there for first time and she just raped my hair... even she didn't know which machine number to use.. I would strongly suggest not to go this horrible place.... they are just their for experimenting on our hair..every employee know nothing about hair cut....I never go to this place again... I have been a shannaz customer for past 3 years..and they do a great job.But last week, I had a very pathetic experiance, i brought my daughter for haircut, its jus fringes and trim.. A lady started taking tangles out and she dint ask us for the length to trim and she straight away started cutting and beleive me she took off nearly 4 inches which matters a lot... i got pissed off and she came front for fringes... i got tat she is not good in Kids haircut, I immediately showed my dots old pic with fringes and asked to do the same , in which fringes was below her eyebrows. that lady jus went and took her hair above her eyebrows and it looked so awkward. I told her i wasnt satisfied with her work... and she dint have a courtesy to say sorry too... very pathetic. I have seen lot of good people there doing a great job and this woman who doesnt know manners and to do service, please dont encourage these kind of people. read more
