My first wax specialist was Samantha and she ended up going to another shop, so now I see Katie (it may be spelled Katie). This is without a doubt the worst place to go for hair removal. The waxer didn't speak to me at all about what I wanted and quickly took off an insane amount of eyebrow. I went from having beautiful, thick eyebrows to uneven and egregiously thin scraps of my former glory. Not only did she wax an insane amount of hair off but she did a terrible job because I left the place bleeding and covered in dried wax. I mean seriously, it was in my mouth, my nose, my hair. I paid, because I didn't want to create a scene or cause problems for the front desk girl, but I did call and ask to speak with the manager about my horrible experience. This was on a Tuesday and I was told "the manager won't be back until Thursday morning but I'll have her return your call." Well, it's now Saturday evening and they haven't put me through to the manager once. Only go here if you want to be left bloody and unsatisfied and be treated with little to no care by the staff and management. This is the place where I got my initial package for eyebrow waxed and I've had really good luck in the past. It's especially easy since I have microblading done, so they have a "stencil" to follow. I came. Y to get my brows done before heading to France for vacation. I hope that the spots heal over the next week. Please, please get Moné more training before she touches someone else. I am so glad I did not have a more sensitive spot done. She went over the same spots 2-3 times and (yes) took skin with her. The two stars are for the receptionist who gave me a credit for my appointment not being on time and then crediting me for my missing skin. Had been coming here for years and never had a problem. I went into my appointment and was left with patches of hair. So much that I just had to go back on top and shave what I had just paid for. When trying to get ahold of the manager to discuss, I was told by staff that a message was left for her to call me back which she never did. After 3 WEEKS I finally called and she answered. She claimed she had spoken to me, which she never did and told me to come back for a discounted service which I declined. Over all horrible place with horrible customer service. The day before my scheduled wax I got a call saying that my waxer wouldn't be in that day and I needed to reschedule. Not a huge deal, but this was the second time they've done this. So I rescheduled for Sunday afternoon, arrive a few minutes early and the door is locked. I called the number on my appt confirmation and asked if maybe the location moved, and was told they were closed. I asked why I was scheduled for this day when they were going to be closed. The girl told me "we sent out a message to everyone" which I was a little surprised by because I never got a message stating that. Before I could ask about rescheduling AGAIN she hung up on me. The Las Colinas locations is the best! I love the service and the staff! They have services for all areas you need waxed. The waxers make you feel comfortable (especially if it's your first time). They are popular for their Brazilian and full bikini waxes. Gabriella is a great waxer. There's no doubt all the waxers are experienced and rest assured you'll be in good care. The best way to save money is purchasing the wax passes. They will ask if you want to purchase a package but they won't bother you aggressively about it. They also have maintenance products at the shop for you to use on your waxed skin (for example: serum for ingrown hair, exfoliating cream, etc.). Things you want to consider when waxing is how clean and professional the place is. EWC is clean, friendly, and professional in what they do. I've been coming here for two years now and have only good things to say about the company and this location. read more

This place was not it for a first timer Brazilian wax. I was aware that it would hurt but I was not feeling comfortable with the person who waxed me. On top of that when I checked, there was still hair to wax so I would have to tell her if she can wax some more ... I had to tell her twice. She didn't even do my ingrown at the end. I'm writing the review now because I thought i was exaggerating about the pain but now that I found a new place I was not exaggerating this other place made me feel 10x less pain and way more comfortable than this place. Last time I had a very bad experience with Taylor, but the GM called me and offered me a chance to come back and try them out again. This time I got waxed by Brittnee, and she was so sweet. She took her time, and made the whole process as painless as it could be. She had some cute hand made posters on the wall that had just a few tips and tricks for waxing that really showed how much she loves her job. I'm giving this location 4 stars because I love the service and they do a great job but the only reason I'm not adding the 5th star is because of the receptionist. I'll get to that later but so far I've only been waxed by Britnee and Amberly. Britnee did a good job but Amberly did a GREAT job. I love this place, and whatever wax they use keeps me from having to tweeze so often. I actually visited today and loved my service, but upon leaving I noticed the receptionist charged me for eyebrow waxing when I didn't get my eyebrows waxed. I had to drive back to the center and when I told the receptionist that she charged me and I didn't get my eyebrows waxed she said "There's nothing I can do about it right now, my Manager is out until 3 but i'll leave your receipt out here so she can take care of it. She'll give you points for your next service or a refund" That was not only rude but unhelpful. Naturally I want my money back. EWC's services are a little expensive and I don't care about points. I want my money back. I paid for something I didn't get. That's my only beef with EWC beyond receptionists that need a lesson in customer service my experience was great. read more

I waxed with LaShunda...I love her she makes me feel calm and makes jokes that helps distract me from what is being waxed. I did my first Brazilian wax with her and I felt comfortable enough to go back. Update*** LaShunda no longer works there and I found out after they talked me into a package...I went with another waxed and she rushed through...I needed a second wax within 2 weeks where LaShunda lasted 4-5 weeks. They put their workers on a timer and I guess the second waxer was trying to rush through...I have two more waxes to use them I probably won't be back.. read more

I love the flexibility they have with appointments! I usually go on my work from home days but conference calls sometimes interfere. Every technician has been great and super friendly. The place is always clean but a tad bit cold and austere. Otherwise it is great and I always observe techs using appropriate cleanliness standards. They have a bunch of products for sale but, honestly, I never bother with that stuff. I go in monthly for brows and brazillian and the results are always great.
