During the threading, the thread snapped several times. At one point, it snapped hard enough that it went inside of my closed eye. I know accidents happen, and I wasn't upset about the mistake itself, but it did make the experience uncomfortable. Slowing down a bit could help make the service feel smoother and more relaxing. That said, I want to give credit where it's due. Rani was very detail-oriented when it came to shaping my eyebrows. She took the time to make sure they were even, well-groomed, and nicely trimmed. Right after my appointment, I wasn't sure how I felt about the final result. Now that a couple of days have passed, I've actually grown to really like them. Looking back, I appreciate how clean and polished my eyebrows look. Overall, I'd describe my experience as mixed. The actual quality of the eyebrow shaping was very good, but the threading experience itself left me a little uneasy. I'm still undecided about whether I'll return, but I can definitely say that Rani does nice work when it comes to shaping brows.

Lizzie at Tejas is an incredible artist who does flawless microblading, and Christina in St. Louis (who I went to for over a decade and now owns the Wink salon chain) always gave me perfect brows. You also lied about refunding me. You told me you would, then went back on your word -- which is a very small price to pay considering you've botched my face for months. Most importantly, you did not listen to anything I asked. I specifically said I wanted fluffy, tapered tails and told you not to take from the top to avoid heaviness. Instead, you ripped off the tails and repeatedly waxed the top until I was left red and blistered for the first time in my life. You ignored every word I said. It doesn't take skill to do a Brazilian, but brows require artistry, attention, and respect. Do not go to her for your brows. She lies, she doesn't listen, and she ruined mine.

She did a good job, but it took up too much time. When she first mentioned wanting to have her eyebrows tattooed on, I was not supportive. To me, it seemed ridiculous to have something so permanent done. What if one of the tattoos was crooked, too thin, too fat, off-center, or who knows what? Ultimately, it was her decision to make. When she finally decided to commit to visiting BrowBeat, I was blown away by the final result. I also learned that the process is called microblading, and it is not the same as traditional tattooing. Microblading does require touchups over time, as fading occurs. This is actually a good thing, since it enables the shape of the eyebrow to be slowly modified if desired as the years progress. My wife's eyebrows look so natural that it's hard to believe she had anything done. There is nothing unnatural about the final result. She has gone for touchups the past two years, and this year (2023) was her third visit. It's really quite remarkable. My wife is so happy with the results, and I am relieved and happy too. I had a really great experience here! I have been living in the Valley Ranch area for a year now, but would always stop at another place for eyebrows, waxing, etc. They were awful a lot of the time, but, I'd still go because I didn't know Shahnaz was right around the corner. I honestly had the BEST first experience at Shahnaz. Prices were awesome and service was awesome. Latchmi, Kusbu and Sonya took care of me and did such a great job! Sonya took the customer service to another level, and now, i'm only going to this place. I'm even going to recommend them to my friends...DON'T waste your time going to another salon in the area for your eyebrow, waxing, etc needs. This is the place! read more

I tried them when they first opened but was not too happy. Rushed services and were not friendly. Decided to re-try and still same service. I walked in during lunch hour for eyebrow threading. Not acknowledged. Sat down and maybe 5 min later, female said to go back. Not once did she smile or ask what I needed. Eventually I told her. She rushed the threading. When I asked her about the side and under chin, she did not want to do it. Even though there was visible hair. I left very unhappy. Also the other customer besides me was chatting in Hindi about another customer there who was Black. So not right. Will not be going back. read more

My fiancee Stephanie has been extremely hesitant to get her hair cut. So much so that she has not had it cut in almost six years. I've been a customer for almost four years and I am so happy they are open for business! They were smart about sanitizing pretty much constantly. I went there after reading all the reviews!! Sonia did wonderful highlights and Sapna did really nice haircut i think it was layered or feather cut. I went there for the haircut only but after haircut she suggested me for the highlighting hair for my Diwali party. I needed some different color for my hair. It was my first experience but was worth it with money wise also. Though i waited little longer because of rush at salon but at last it was worth it. Thanks so much for my new looks. read more

There are few things in life you regret doing and i really regret going to this place for getting my waxing done. Looks like every single person working there is a trainee and they want to experiment on you like your a ginni pig. The waxing they do is so sloppy and and they are always in hurry to rip your skina dn not wax. Greedy lady and ppl . Managers of this place are very friendly and take special care for customers. They santize their combs after each use and utilize one time robe for hair cutting.
