The only downside about my experience at BUOY bowls is that I felt that the price of a smoothie was a little bit high. The smoothies were $10 a piece. Next day I went back for the same in a regular size. Some reviews mentioned it was not sweet. The açaí itself is not but the original has honey on top plus the sweetness of the fruit is enough. The fruit they use for toppings is fresh and the granola is crunchy and delicious. I also like that they don't nickel and dime you for adding toppings. They also give a generous portion of toppings. I generally have to pay for extra granola but that was not necessary. Service was friendly and patient. The first day it took a minute for me to decide. Second day I got there right when they were closing, well technically it was roped off already but it wasn't quite 5:50 so I was able to order. They are actually inside the mall.
