And it's been thirty plus years since I've had a dog that good. And not just once but every time it's just as good as the last one. Everything from the onions to the bread is top of the line and cooked to order(I can be sure of that). And last but not least the seal of a professional grill cook is French fries cooked in fry oil that is filtered daily and changed well before it begins to smoke. You can't shit me on this. I know when I get food cooked in oil that's beyond its prime and I have gotten it from every place that I've ever been to more than once until now. Take my advice and spend $11 and indulge in something so good I have no choice but to refer to it as "food porn".

It took me a little while to finally able to get my hands on one of their sandwiches. The hours posted on Yelp or Google are not accurate. They only open about 3 days or so a week, and every time, they'd be in a different location. For such a popular food truck with high rating, I was so surprised to find them tucked away in a parking lot of a body shop. The best way to find out when and where they'll be is their social media, on IG or FB. So far I have tried their surf and turf and tri tip sandwiches. Both were generously packed with so much meat! Normally I have to have some kind of veggies with my sandwiches, but I was so happy and satisfied with these babies and the side salad that it comes with. Their pricing is not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a little more for a damn good sammich, than save some money on a mediocre one. When arrived to our RV park in Avila Beach we were immediately told to look out for the yellow tamale truck. The very next day, we were graced with Savina's presence. We ran down the truck and order half a dozen beef tamales. They were also offering pork and verde pork tamales, but we opted for all beef. These tamales had the perfect ratio of meat to masa; in fact the beef was over flowing! The masa wasn't too heavy and did not crumble when cut. The beef was shredded, super tender, with just a touch of spice. Theses tamales were amazing and, I had to admit, better than the ones my family makes. If you're in the Avila or Pismo Beach areas keep an eye out for the bright yellow tamale truck!
