I would literally WALK from LA and back to visit this amazing establishment again (if I didnt have…read moresuch a bad back I would seriously do it) My boyfriend and I stumbled on this place during our road trip and although it was a quick stop, I left feeling so happy and overly satisfied w my meal. Not only was the food amazing but so was the hospitality. They gave us a free ube latte bc they made an extra on accident and i swear it was better than the dutch bros I had down the street. At first we were skeptical about the lumpia bc of the peas in them but once you get over that you'll realize its actually REALLYYYY GOOD. they werent soggy or flavorless, it was perfect all around. I was so full but almost wanted to buy another order to eat on the road- it was that good. My boyfriend devoured the slider, but spared me a bite. Im not really a burger/sandwich person but i have to say it was so flavorful would def recommend. If i was hungrier I would have ordered one for myself. We will be visiting again someday, but in the meantime I hope people will get to find this gem and have a memorable & positive experience as my boyfriend and I did

We are familiar with Filipino food as one of our friends from Tarzana would cook Saturday meals…read more We ordered the combo platter to taste. It consisted of Lumpia (a type of spring roll) pork (was dry but the gravy saved it) white rice and glass noodles with vegetables. My wife ordered the mango lemonade which was surprisingly good. So why did I give four stars? I found two bones in the pork. When I mentioned it to the owner she said it was from cutting meat from the bone. I do not know of this was an aberration or not. These could have easily chipped a tooth or cracked a filling. I guess being a Casualty Underwriter for 37 years is commenting.

Good ambiance, relaxing music, friendly staff/owners. 3 small tables available. Good menu…read moreselection. A couple of errors on our drinks (no ice when asked for extra ice, and no sweetener when asking for 100% sweetness), but nothing major, still good flavor/quality and just asked for ice on the side. The matcha drink was actually a good strong flavor. My niece's review: "this place is very preppy I give it a 6/7"

I usually try to reduce sweetness where I can because I add sweetened toppings (even if it seems negligible)- this was the right amount of sweetness and I'd try to do 0% if I could next time. The boba is nice and chewy. The egg pudding keeps its shape and added some extra sweetness to the drink as well. I wish the tea taste was stronger but I've had worse. Rose Milk Tea (+boba/50% sweet): Tastes like how a rose milk tea should. (Similar to 85 degrees). Meets the standard for how floral this drink should be. Service: Kiosk makes things easy and you could order in-person as well. Our drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time, not too fast that you'd question if it was just premade slop, but not too long where it would be annoying. Ambiance: It does feel very cramped and cluttered inside. There's some tables (not many) if anyone wanted to stick around and/or study. There are a variety of figurines, urns, teas, pins, etc. that are kind of everywhere around the shop. It's like a gift shop almost. Many signs saying not to touch the merch. The interior feels especially cramped because there isn't much waiting room if you like your personal space. If it doesn't ruin the structural integrity of the place, I don't know why they don't make changes to the inside. There aren't too many good boba shops in this general area but thankfully Sweetie Cup Tea House is one of them. I will definitely return.
