Math used to be almost impossible, and is now our 7 year old's best subject, and we are tackling reading next. Their handwriting is also much improved! The boys look forward to tutoring every week! Our son was at the first grade reading level when he entered VSA in the 7th grade. He had been educated in international schools around the globe with very little support for his dyslexia. He is now in high school finishing his college associates degree and helicopter pilot's license. VSA's explicit, evidence-based, multi-sensory instruction and providing students with self-advocacy skills changed our son's life for the better.
