I vowed never to come back again. Fast forward 2 years later, Big Bro said he was willing to give them another chance. I was completely hesitant, preferring to go to a turo-turo street vendor. But he said he saw "NOW OPEN" signs everywhere and thought maybe they've changed. I couldn't win that argument, so we went. They've changed indeed. The layout and the décor is completely different. (Whatever, that didn't really mean anything to me.) I just prepped myself for disappointment with their food. Party of 5, we ordered the barkada bundle for 6. Included is rice, caramel bites, Hawaiian pizza, double bacon pizza, 6 pieces of chicken, 2 orders of spaghetti and two pitchers of drinks. Tons of food for the bargain price of 900PHP. (It actually came out much cheaper due to a couple of senior citizen discounts!) The one thing that irked me as I placed the order is the unprofessionalism of the cashiers. I can't remember their names, but here's what happened. I was told that if I opted for iced tea with our drinks (or was it pineapple juice, whatever, it doesn't matter), it's for an additional cost. Cashier next to her said it should be included with the bundle at no additional cost. Then a little debate ensued RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. After settling the drinks dispute, they started playfully hitting each other like I wasn't there. They weren't even done with my transaction yet! I get it. They're young and clearly inexperienced, or maybe they just didn't care, but that was really REALLY annoying. I was gonna say something but decided to pull back, afraid they might mess with my food, so, it was best to let it go. Moving on! It took a good 15 minutes before our drinks and food started trickling in. And yes, this visit is a HUGE improvement from the last. The spaghetti was what it was. But unlike the last time, it came through HOT HOT HOT. It was decent. The chicken was also made to order. We had to let it cool off for a few before we all each took a bite. It was crispy, juicy and off the fryer HOT. Seasoning was a bit on the salty side but nothing the gravy couldn't settle. The pizzas were far better this time around vs last visit. We saw they roll out their dough fresh with each order. What a difference this practice makes. And they weren't cheap with the toppings either. The Hawaiian could have stayed in the oven a little longer for a better crisp. Otherwise, okay. Only fair to admit this was a far better experience than the last. Good thing I gave in to Big Bro's decision, otherwise, I probably would never have known. Definitely coming back.

For the five of us, we ordered medium pepperoni and white pizza, carbonara, mozzarella sticks, and calamari. They were good!. We think the service was fast because we were the only customers The staff were very friendly. It was raining heavily when we decided to leave. They've been like this since I began coming through 5 or so years ago which is why I keep coming back. Consistency is always key! So when I returned one year later, I expected the same. (Before I move on, I asked our server if we have the option of getting this thin crust - she said they don't offer it that way. No worries.) Anyway. First, the crust was so thick, it barely cooked through, so the toppings under all that cheese also barely cooked through. Second, the mushroom and tomato flavors and aroma were abundant. I gave it a few more little bites looking for the anchovy part of this pizza, and guess what: it's missing. It was disappointing enough to ask the server if she could ask the chef about it. She came back saying the anchovy has been mixed in the sauce. That was a challenge to believe as well because neither one of us got even the tiniest hint that there was anchovy in this pizza. VERDICT: I had to plow through my slice. Big Bro barely finished his. It really was a let down. FOOD: 3.5. Saving grace here is the squid ink pasta. SERVICE: 4.5. Out server was patient with us. It tasted like they put a wad of butter in it so it was more like butter soup than anything. They put just a few mushrooms as well. I really loved the croutons though and they gave a generous serving of the soup. The chicken was good. We liked the breading but it needed more flavor and the flavored rice wasn't anything special. It tasted like margarine rice. We had the baked spaghetti bolognese. The sauce was lacking and wasn't that flavorful and they put so little cheese on top. The mac and cheese lacked flavor and seasoning so we had to put salt and pepper so it would taste better. For the pizzas, we got the cheese lovers supreme and the Italian delight. We personally prefer thin crust pizzas so we thought the pizza was just okay. The dough we find is a bit too thick and the layer of cheese too thin but the flavors are great. We also had lemonade which we loved! But a pitcher wasn't enough for all of us. I don't think we'll order these again.
