To Kevin M's Review:…read more Thank you for sharing your perspective as a former employee. While we're disappointed that your experience working with our company was not a positive one, we do think some context is important for anyone considering Birch Pond as their home. Birch Pond is an established community that is over 20 years old--and, much like homes, cars, appliances, and unfortunately all of us, things age. HVAC systems, water heaters, plumbing fixtures, microwaves, and other components eventually reach the end of their useful life and require repair or replacement. That isn't exactly a shocking revelation in property management; it's precisely why apartment communities have maintenance teams. The good news for our residents? When an air conditioner stops working, a water heater needs replacing, or a plumbing fixture reaches the end of its lifespan, they aren't personally responsible for finding a contractor or paying thousands of dollars to replace it. We are. That's one of the perks of apartment living, and our team works hard every day to keep our community maintained and address issues as they arise. We're also proud to have residents who have chosen to call Birch Pond home for many years. Our community is about more than the age of a microwave or water heater. Our team works hard to create a welcoming place to live through resident events, ongoing maintenance and improvements, and relationships with the people who call our community home. We always encourage prospective residents to do their own research, tour the community in person, meet our team, see the apartments and amenities for themselves, and make an informed decision based on their own experience rather than the employment experience of a former team member. We certainly can't stop a 20+ year-old property--or any of us--from aging. What we can do is continue repairing, replacing, improving, and taking care of our residents along the way. And that's exactly what we intend to do.

It was over 20 years old, still running 20 year old A/C systems, I dealt with no less than 50 Air conditioning calls, they constantly broke down. The place was falling apart, still using original hot water tanks, I physically replaced a dozen hot water tanks. Many kitchen and bath fixtures were original ,and leaked needing replacement. Toilets leaking, bolts rusted out needing repair. had to replace a dozen microwaves. birch pond is not what you see in the pictures, it is dated and in need of an update. Do not rent here, spend a few extra bucks and rent nearby. You will save money and hassle in the long run. I give it a 2 because the rent is a little less then those near by. These are just my opinions, you have been warned!

I moved from out of state and they were extremely accommodating with the extra work that entailed. The maintenance men are easy to work with. The times I needed them, they came either the same day or the next. They send in exterminator every 3 months. They automatically change the heating filter - once a year. They recently power washed all of our patios. The pool and laundry room are always clean and well tended. They also have community activities, such as a Christmas party with prizes. All in all, I find living here is quite pleasant and would highly recommend it.

Staff completely uneducated to their own community. We paid full price $925 per month when low income around us paid half that amount. Parking lots at night were loud parties with juveniles just hanging out. Six weeks into our stay terrible stains came through bad carpeting in living room. Upon spending the full year and giving proper notice, and having spent over $10k in rent they charged up for cleaning, drip pans and new carpet, refunding just $75 of the $450 deposit we paid. We left apartment cleaner than we got it yet they charged us for cleaning. $250 for carpets. Don't rent here. Total rip off waiting to happen. They also took 2 months to refund "deposit".
