I'm not that finnicky when it comes to my car so I'm always satisfied when I get my car washed here. It's not like a hand car wash but the mission is always accomplished. I like that it gets done fairly quickly even when there's a line snaked around the corner. And I like the vacuums and the bays where you can do the finishing touches yourself. Since when is it considered a car accident when the car wash staff failed to shut down the system thrusting my car into the car ahead of me?!?!?! The staff called the Greenwhich police to come out at which time the officer told us that we needed to contact our insurance companies for any damages. Our cars were in neutral we were not driving...... employee error is being pushed off on the customer. This is unacceptable to me. We should have been given the information for Shammy Shine's insurance. The incident was captured on security cameras which shows the equipment thrusting our cars into each other but still the liabilities were pushed off for the customer. The car was was terrible. Hate it when those brushes touch my car, leaving tons of scratches and marring all over my paint. In an attempt to get reimbursed, the supposed "manager" told me to get lost as I went around my car telling him all the mistakes the car was missed on my car. It's crazy how my finger can clean the car by rubbing it a bit on the left over residue. I paid $8 and I expect my car to look brand new... like come on! They didn't even clean inside my car. I had to go out and clean it by the vacuums myself. It's really disappointing to see a car wash not have someone else clean your car for $8. Disgusting. When it came time to my oil change I told them it came free with the car wash. They had to have the nerve to tell me "it's the other way around. " So I looked behind me and I didn't find anything. I told them to fix my car as well as my car was making a "roaring noise" somewhat similar to what two pieces of metal make when you rub them together. I told them I paid for the car wash services, and they straight up denied me of any mechanical service. The staff was horrendous, they didn't acknowledge me or aid me in any way. Really disappointed in how this car was experience was. I even went back to the manager to tell him I want my $8 back. The soap didn't even clean the inside of my car. I dropped a hamburger in there going back 2 years ago and I told one of the guys inside the garage to pick it up as per the car wash service include. I wasn't rude or anything, I just pointed over and told him to... "do what he was getting paid for" He didn't even touch the dog poop that was smeared over my seat. Wtf. Overall, for $8 the car wash still owes me... on top of this poor service and quality. I will not be coming back to this place ever again. I highly recommend anyone with $8 or more to take their business else where. Again for $8 I expect to be treated like royalty but instead I got nothing but lousy service and disrespect. read more

I come here roughly every four months for an oil change and discounted car wash afterwards. All of the employees are very kind and chat with me while the service is being done. I'm not very car savvy, but the employees are always polite and don't make me feel dumb for not knowing much about cars. The vacuums are also amazing and come for free with the car wash. It's a car wash. Good bad they are all pretty much the same. A car wash is a car wash. For $8.00 you get a wash and use of the vacuum (unlimited time). My only catch is the vacuums are very underpowered when it's busy, barely cleaning the car if at all. The other thing is there are all self serve whammy shines that costs more. Not really sure how that works when there are zero employees at the facility. It serves it's purpose. Something that could have brought it much lower but I held off was the oil change service. A few problems have happened since the opening of the building. Had service members strip/cross thread the drain plug, actually causing a lot of damage. When they put the car back together they wrench the oil filter way too tight, not hand tightened as they are suppose to be. I normally do oil changes myself. When I've been in a pinch I've headed here to get it done. Prices are really high for an oil change and when they use to include a car wash with the oil change they now tack on a few dollars. Not sure why but to me it's just a way to get more out of you. Unfortunately they monopolize the area for car washes so they kinda have you but all in all like I said in the beginning, for a car wash they are mostly fine, oil changes I might look somewhere else. read more

This is an "upscale" attempt at the basic neighborhood track car wash. It's pricey for the type of service offers, track based automated car wash. I'm not a fan of track based car washes as the pulling on the wheels to move your car down the carwash's machines and rinses can pull your wheel alignment out of whack. This day though my ride desperately needed a wash. While there two people had incidents where a satellite radio antenna and some trim had been damaged by the washes machines. I don't know the truth of the claims. I only know these people were complaining, and loudly. I was going to pull my car from the line and find someplace else but I was already cued up and my car was heading down the line. When I retrieved it at its finish my car was fine. No issues. I paid $24 (like I said, pricey) for the wash and got on with my day. I haven't been back. $24 is too much for an automated track driven car wash. Plus I admit, the claims made by the two folks stating their cars had been damaged in the wash scared me off. read more

If I could give a 0 I would. I just know, last nov 2020, my car enter the facility with no damage and left the property with minor damage to the vehicle ($400 worth per my insurance company). In my opinion, the manager was uncooperative when I immediately reported it. In my opinion, there is a sign that's not well visible listing cars that cannot enter the facility. My car was NOT on that list and the attendant said nothing to us. My hubby asked twice to see the car wash video which manager ignored us and would not let us see it at that time. Even my car insurance asked for a copy and to my acknowledge, they did not receive one. In my opinion, car wash/manager was making it difficult so their insurance wouldn't have to pay for the damage. We drive a distance to get our car washes here. We are fussy and always get an excellent clean with ample free powerful vacs and mat washers too. We never wait for more than a few minutes, and the experience is super fast and friendly. There are many wash options to choose from and the prices are reasonable. Once I thought my passenger door might have been scratched slightly in the wash because I first noticed it while vacuuming. Regardless of whether or not it happened here, the manager personally came over and compounded it out while we waited. That spirit of generosity and service is hard to come by nowadays. read more

My boyfriend had recently gone here to get a wash with his friend. They have the same vehicle and are both disappointed in the outcome of the wash. Both of them have very similar scratches running across both sides of their trucks, and I'm not just talking a few little marks, I'm talking the entire truck is covered in long, noticeable scratches. He has picture proof that they were not there just a couple days before he got the wash, and the manager, Kevin Knight, was a snob and had poor attitude towards what we were trying to tell/show him. He insisted it was from tree branches, even though neither of them go off roading and my boyfriend only uses it as a commuter vehicle. There was a review made on google 2 days prior to my boyfriends incidence, saying that their Jeep had also been scratched up post wash at Shammy shine. I do not recommend going to this place for a car wash, and if you do I would take precautions by taking a few photos of your vehicle before going in just Incase the same thing happens to you. read more
