It's a 20 second job. Left the watch. Got a claim check,admittedly didn't look at it. Picked up the watch today and was charged $12.84 for the work. Basically a 20 cent pin and 20 second job. Unbelievable price gouging. I hope they pay their jewelers an hourly rate commensurate with what they charge for their work.

The crystal was scratched up pretty good as Dad was a carpenter and wore this every day. Showed minor wear, and had not run in years. I had considered just scrapping it, but was advised by Kaitlin to just have it looked at. I left the watch with them and was amazed that I had an estimate in days! I came back in February to see why they haven't called me, because it was only supposed to take three months. Their excuse was that they were renovating so it has been delayed. I told them that it would have been reasonable to call me about the delay and I didn't understand what the renovation has to do with the order. They said it'll take about a few weeks. A MONTH LATER, I went back to the store and they apparently put in the wrong sku number. Their excuse this time was that my ring had two different sku numbers so they put in the "right" one this time and that it'll take four weeks. Guess what? It's mid-April now and still nothing. I am rather disappointed at this location because of the unprofessional staff at this location who doesn't care about their customers when their other locations are rather pleasant and easy-going. I am not saying that Kay jewelers is bad, just this location. So if you need to buy, resize, or whatever it is that you want from Kay Jewelers, STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. They do not care about me so I would assume that they won't care for you either.
