Worth every penny and then some. And more. Shandon was INCREDIBLE with my son-he was able to make him smile naturally, had wonderful ideas, great energy, and these are literally, no exaggeration: the *best* photos I've ever had done of him. I didn't realize how AWFUL my past headshots were until I went to Shandon. I'm not being dramatic. Looking through Shandon's work made all of my past photos seem highly retouched, fake, and they just didn't look like me. Shandon captured my essence perfectly. And the craziest part...all I felt during our session was that I was having fun on a film set. He was doing the hard work so I could just breathe, be me, and let him capture it all. Fitz is as absolute gem, he answered all of my questions prior, during and post booking. Even my MHU artist, with whom Shandon regularly works, Hanako, was the BEST. Shandon's studio is beautiful. I brought my teen daughter to Shandon for updated head shots once she had her braces removed. After having done quite a bit of research, I followed my instincts and listened to all the positive reviews here. They are all 100% accurate! First, Shandon's assistant (Grant) contacted me within 24 hours of sending out an email. He set up our appointment for the following week and was a great communicator throughout the whole process. He is helpful, friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have. The location is a bit strange and out of the way, but I was given very clear directions on how to get there. Once inside the studio, Grant made every effort to make us feel comfortable. I sat separately from where Shandon was conducting the shoot, but could hear the great rapport he had with my daughter. He was not hokey, or corny to try to get her to smile and laugh. Most of you know what THAT can be like. Also, I was amazed at how many specific and different looks he was able to capture with just a few wardrobe changes. I only wish I'd known about Shandon a few years ago. I wouldn't have wasted money on the previous photographer we hired. My daughter has never looked so good in pictures! You will not be disappointed! *One more note!
