I have always wanted to buy a house and was turned off by how pushy other agents were. I felt none of that by this team. I will highlight each member and their process along the way. pls keep in mind that their role for you may be different, but in the case of my fiance and I, this is how the group was structured to work with us. Mike - Mike served as my broker and helped w/ the initial phase. He coached us on financials ( saving pay stubs, price ranges, possible down payments and anything in the financial aspect of the process). Mike made all of our interactions fun and quick. He would communicate at my convenience and would always outline what was needed. Mike went above and beyond to help contact my places of work (i have 3 jobs) so that he could do all the necessary employment verification, and everything needed to help prepare to secure my loan. He also worked with my insurance company at the end of process. Mike treated all my questions with patience and never once made me feel dumb. Mike is the man!!! Steve - Steve was my guy to finalize all my loan info to send to the underwriters (its my understanding that the underwriters help to secure my loan....)and to overall secure me a good loan/guide me through the process of closing escrow with the loan and lender people. Now this was the person I was scared of because when you hear of securing a loan or going through escrow, you hear the horror stories of people. I HAD NONE OF THAT. All questions about what to sign and how to answer were answer via PHONE CALL by Steve. He was patient and broke everything down so simply for me. It's like when you are expecting to feel pain from an injection and when it's done you're like THAT'S IT? He also will coach you on your financials throughout the escrow process (how much money to keep in your accounts, no big purchases...anything to protect you). Melissa - I met Melissa to sign papers as she was the Notary for us. She met at a public location close to me as I only had a 30 min window. She prepped everything and was super efficient and super funny. I loved how SBG had a person for each major step in the home buying process. Lana - Lana was amazing! I have so much love for Lana because I did a bulk of the behind the scenes stuff with her. I dubbed her the BADASS STRATEGIST. like an army general devising up a plan. She initially asked us what type of house we want, specifics and we were off. We received lists of houses based on specifics we provided. May 20, 2020 Working with Lana and her team a Shaner Brokerage was an incredible experience. In early March our mother in law made the decision to sell her home of 30 years and move into assisted living. Going in we knew that the sale could be tricky for a few reasons, the nature of the property, the fact that there would be a slight language barrier with our mother in law who is aging and quite forgetful. And we were also aware of the emotional hurdles that would come with a sale of this nature. From open to close we were blown away with how fast and efficient Lana was. In the middle of our process the we faced another large hurdle, COVID - 19. With everything shutting down around us we watched as Lana gracefully and efficiently pushed all the moving parts of a sale together to get escrow closed in less than 30 days. It was incredible. We recently purchased a beach property and used Bryan Shaner as our realtor. We cannot say enough about him and his team. Brian is an exceptional real estate agent. We met Brian in early December 2015 while looking for a beach house. We had been eyeing a certain house that had been in the market for some time. Brian showed us the house which had many legal and cosmetic problems. We loved its location and Brian suggested an offering price. We made the offer and discovered that escrow must close prior to year-end which was less then 3 weeks away. Our offer was accepted, and Brian accepted the challenge to close escrow within the deadline. His knowledge of real estate and initiative were displayed through the entire process.
