My daughter and I decided to try out this restaurant for Chinese food. It seemed to have a pretty good takeout business. There was limited seating, and the staff was stretched to cover the in house customers and the takeout business. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The filling in the crab Cannolis was excellent! The cashew chicken was different than other Chinese restaurants. Much more chicken. It was also fried crispy. I really enjoyed it. We will be back, but maybe for takeout next time

As good as you'll find at any Asian quick-service/carry-out in the Loveland/Milford area. Food is prepared perfectly, served piping hot and the staff is pleasant and customer-focused. We dined in and it was evident that they do a bustling carry-out business. Dining room is relatively small and dark but clean and tidy. Reasonably priced at $9-12 per entree. Highly recommend!

Not great , ok food, odd flavor sauce. The cleanliness needs improvement. Nice owners, decent service.

If you live in Loveland and don't know this Chinese restaurant, you're missing out! My husband and I stopped by this restaurant across the street from Hilton Garden Inn as we were in town for business for a few days. Their menu is ridiculously cheap and the food is in huge portion and delicious. We ordered the 5 pieces Shanghai dumplings for $5.95, which honestly would have probably cost me this much if I bought the dumplings from an Asian super market. We also ordered the Mongolian Beef and Shrimp Wonton noodle soup from their lunch menu. Their extensive lunch menu all cost $5.95 each! It doesn't get any better than this. I can't even get spring rolls at this price in Virginia where I live. And the food is in regular entree size so expect decent portion even for lunch items. We didn't get any chicken so can't vouch for the quality but the beef and Shanghai pork dumplings were good. The shrimp wontons are homemade and flavorful. I spoke to the owners and they explained that they're pretty much operating at cost here (for the lunch menu), you're pretty much just paying for the cost of ingredients. They're keeping the price low to just make enough margin to keep the restaurant menu. Even dinner prices are extremely affordable at mostly $9.95-10.95 each, with some chef specials at $14-17. They mostly run on take-out order so the restaurant is not busy during the day. We came at 3pm and they still honored the lunch price for us. Thank you! Please go support this wholesome Chinese family business and try the food for yourself instead of relying on the other reviews from people that don't know Chinese food at all.

Tied for best egg rolls in Cincy area. (Or a close 2nd to Sizzling Wok on Beechmont). Definitely recommended

Everything I could ever want from a small primarily take-out Chinese restaurant. I've been quite a few times now, and occasionally I'll see diners, but usually people get take out. That said, the dining area does look nice. Quality food here! Their egg rolls are amongst the best in Cincinnati and I've done a lot of research. Very nice owners and service. They even put a complimentary freshly fried doughnut in with your order. If this location was a little closer to home, I'd be there all the time, seriously.

Is this a sit down or takeout restaurant?

It's a sit down restaurant and you can order and take it out too. Wonderful family owned restaurant. Good items on the menu and generous portions for the price.

Shanghai Bistro has only been open a few months and it is awesome to have such a clean place and wonderful food. Lately, it has been closed. What happened to it? We would love to have it back.

There is a new owner... they just re-opened Mothers Day 2018.

The gentleman asked if we had reservations. We did not. He simply said, "Then we'll have three more guests for the evening" or something along those lines. He was very kind. Before our friend arrived, a woman stopped by to welcome us. Top notch service so far! The ambiance is beautiful. The lighted tree and decor behind us was a lot, but it felt tasteful. Jack, our server, stopped by to get us water. When our friend arrived we had a lot to talk about. Jack stopped by several times and was very chill about us taking our time. He said he didn't mind if we still weren't ready and he'd return to check on us as often as necessary. Again, kindness and patience abound at Oriental Wok. The Ma La Dumplings were absolutely delicious. The filling was delicious and the spice level, which we knew would be spicy, was perfect. Truly a wonderful bite. I had Five-Spice Tofu. The tofu was crispy as advertised and the greens were in a very light and delectable sauce. Green onions were sprinkled with the greens. I feel sometimes greens like these are an afterthought at many restaurants. At Oriental Wok they were as much a star as the crispy tofu. Mark had Orange Chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. He mentioned the orange flavor was perfect. Either Jack asked if we wanted dessert and I missed it or he didn't ask. Our friend thought maybe he did and she said no, but she couldn't be sure. I just remember him stopping by to ask if we needed boxes. Anyway, next thing I knew we had our checks. I really wanted dessert, but I took it as a sign it was time for us to wrap up. I'm absolutely certain he would have been more than happy to bring us some dessert and update our checks, so going without was on me and that's cool. I think it's safe to say we will be back!
