I called to ask why they would send to collections and not call me or mail me. We had mail forwarded to our new residence and never received anything from APC. We checked and did a search of phone records with no calls coming from APC. To be fair to them: Their work was fine. The man who came out and did a great check and was really friendly. I'd just really prefer that their accounts department do just the basics of minor effort to call someone before sending to collections.

He assessed the washer and determined it only needed a reset. I was prepared to pay hundreds of dollars for a repair as the washer was only one year old. Was only charged for the service call. I recently noticed my front loader washer drum seemed very wiggly and "bouncy" during a wash cycle,…read moreand I have had problems in past with springs coming off, so I thought this had happened again. While walking up to the washer, James said I doubt it is springs as seal looks perfectly good and usually they are misshapened when springs are off.... He opened up back of machine and immediately noticed a couple of issues, then quoted repair costs. As it turns out however machine is 21 years old and repairs will run more than what a new replacement would be! So I naturally decided not to repair but replace, after he thoroughly explained everything to me, then got everything back together so I can use it until I can arrange for a replacement. James seemed very knowledgeable, came quickly and was efficient during his visit. Will definitely call again for any future appliance repair needs.
