My daughter had her wedding photographed by Shanyn. I found her unprofessional and rude. She came into the bridal suite like she owned the place. Ordering people around and was extremely pushy. When my daughter was getting dressed she kicked myself and her sister out of the room and said she'd let us know when the "reveal" would happen. Not wanting to make a fuss or stress my daughter out; we obliged. About 70 minutes later I went to my daughters room only to find out they'd left for the venue already. No pictures with my daughter on her wedding day. She didn't come around and take family pictures during the wedding either. Her and her assistant sat in a dark corner stuffing their faces full of food and booze. The only time I ever saw them do anything was when the videographer was taking video. As far as I'm concerned she ruined this day for me. A memory I will NEVER get back. 5 months later; my daughter was still waiting for her photos. Excuse after excuse. Lie after lie. If you're not going to abide by a contract then don't do business with people. I wouldn't hire her to photograph a crime scene!! BUYER BEWARE.... read more

PLEASE TAKE HEED this photographer is awful! I'm not sure if she just "bit off more than she can chew" with accepting so many sessions but if you book with her you better have a lot of patience because you will be waiting.. and waiting.. and waiting.. for any proofs/final edits. Oh but don't worry she's great at getting back to you in a jiff when it comes to collecting any payments. Also everything just magically gets lost in her favorite excuse: "spam." How very convenient for her because once she tells you to check your spam folder and you see that there's still nothing from her, it will take an additional day or two of waiting. I for one am no longer a fan. I thought her prices were better (EXPENSIVE) but better than what other photographers are offering but you might as well take your money and go elsewhere, you will thank me later I promise you. read more

I went ahead and searched up and down for a great photographer. The price is okay. However the customer service completely Lacks. If you're looking for a photographer but you don't have to beg for your pictures this is definitely not the one for you. I also went ahead and had to drive twice from El Mirage due to the baby not cooperating. The first session was a bit long and she was very patient but the second session was a waste of my time. Her attitude was very uncomfortable I highly recommend anybody to continue searching. I would have much rather stayed a little bit more and have gotten my money's worth the pictures. $380 for a mini maternity photo shoot that included a newborn shoe it's definitely not worth it. Shanyn saved the DAY for my stepdaughter's wedding when her original photographer informed her he couldn't make it only hours before her wedding!! Day of service was second to none, she showed up early and was just as excited and giddy as both of us! I found Shanyn online & after looking through her extensive photo gallery decided to book a Boudoir session with her. I went into the session very self conscious about my body & if I would go through with giving them to my husband as a Valentines gift. Shanyn shared several sneak peaks with me within 48 hours & in less than a week I had a huge gallery to choose from. The moment I scrolled through all of my images, I was a huge sobbing mess. We hired Ms. King to take photos for students attending our junior senior prom. The issues we had were numerous and included: prices changed from what was discussed, students overcharged for digital photos, prints ordered as the incorrect size, prints not delivered, digital copies not delivered, photos printed with no cropping out of wall showing behind backdrop, and printing photos with obvious flaws such as eyes closed when other shots of the student looking great were available. In the end we had to refund student's money from our school account, reorder photos on our own in the correct sizes, and manage complaints because Ms. King refused to return multiple emails and phone calls. read more
