Last week, they had iced tea for free in the little sit down area after class. Nice touch. They've been doing this for years I think. You really improve with flexibility with the heat, and that is great if you aren't hyper mobile, which I. am. not. (Thankfully!) MOV does a great job making sure everything is clean and there is no mold smell anywhere in the building, etc! I unfortunately will not join up again because it is too far from my home, and I wheeze and get a headache when around moldy smells from some men's mats or clothes (Sorry men, it is never women!... yet). Then they (some, not all men) cover the moldy smell with some good and smelly detergent or fabric softener, making me wheeze from the chemicals. Just so you know, I love men, but their system is less sensitive to mold, and well, then they don't know they smell (or they think they covered it up, dang less sensitive to mold men!). :( My last free class I had to move, and pissed off an angry yogi. C'est la vie, get over it, and I gotta do what I gotta do. I only slid my mat back to an open spot to get away from the smell, and breathe! Said thank you and sorry and got a dirty look. She had space to move from me as she wanted space on both sides of her, I guess. Hey, I got a free smoothie on my birthday too! Very generous of them! And Dave gave me a copy of his book! Thanks so much Mov and Dave! I hope you are around for a good long while. If my system gets stronger, I'll probably join sometime, at least for a month like January!

This studio sits on a corner lot on the second floor in downtown Wayzata overlooking Lake Minnetonka. The staff here are always welcoming and the instructors are top-notch. My favorite will always be Rachel T. (one of the owners). Class size is small so you really feel like you get that extra attention you sometimes need. I always leave here feeling like I had a great workout and really worked hard. This studio offers a variety of classes throughout the day. If I was in closer proximity I'd come more often. Classes are pricey though and it's expensive to be a member here. All kinds of packages are available but a 3-6 month pass ranges from $300-500. I love this studio but not sure it's worth these prices to me.

The back one is for hot yoga and the front one is for their other classes. Intro to yoga, Barre, etc. I started out with their When Pigs Fly yoga. It was a wonderful relaxing stretching class for beginners. The perfect class after a day of sitting at a computer desk all day! Since it was on my birthday I could just bring a canned good for the class. Plus they had a great discounted deal for 5 classes for $50 that I had to take them up on. I hope to become a regular here. The receptionist and Yogi were both so warm and inviting. Remembering all of the regulars names and starting conversations with everyone. Both very different but equally wonderful. The studio is in a strip mall, but once you enter the front doors it's like it's own kind of paradise. They offer free tea and water, there is plenty of cubby storage for your things, and everyone is very welcoming and helpful. The only downside is that the smaller room gets a little cramped when the class is full, but the instructors handle it in stride and makes jokes about not tickling each other's feet. I have felt a slight air of judgement a few times from others in the class, but that can't be held against the studio, and I try my best to ignore it since I'm only there for myself (they're probably just jealous of my amazing savasana skills!) This place really is a wonderful break from the world, and I'm so glad they offer the free week to try all of the classes out!

I typically stick to the same class…read more(Tuesday morning with Tara) but I have tried others and have heard that ALL of their classes are wonderful. I love TRX so that is the class I stick too. I am the poster child for not being a morning person BUT I love waking up to start my day with a TRX workout early with Tara. Everyone has been going here for forever and they all know each other and their kids. Everyone is friendly and encouraging- very inclusive which is nice. The studio is family friendly and they offer a wide range of programs and challenges for the whole family. they encourage family activity which is so fun! I don't have kids but if I did I would definitely make attending a top priority for everyone. Tara is so sweet and is willing to stay after to help you if you want to focus on something additional or need help mastering a move. There is no pressure to be the best... she teaches you how to do the move, does them with you and is genuinely interested in YOU. Classes here make my week :) The studio is smaller and offers a lot of personalized attention, which is rare for a lot of places. Great for all levels.

Every class is 45-minutes which is perfect vs. typical 60-minutes fitness classes which in my opinion, helps you get in and out quickly allowing extra time for errands, commuting, etc. The studio is brand new so of course it's extremely clean, the parking is still under construction (but will be done soon) and the staff was welcoming and kind. You do need to have clip in shoes in order to cycle which you can bring your own or rent and there is a water fountain to fill up water bottles. Cycling is done to the beat of the music with candles and dim lights. One unique thing about this studio is that there is free child care on-site. I don't have kids and didn't use it, but this sounds like a major perk! Clip in, check out, let's ride!
