Excellent teachers. The quality of the teaching is exceptional and the atmosphere/culture of this strip mall yoga studio is wonderful.

FYI this place has recently rebranded to be Good Vibrations Yoga…read more Disclaimer: Before Good Vibrations, I have not visited a yoga studio but instead practiced at home, following Yoga with Adriene videos. I've been coming here for only a couple of weeks, but I am a huge fan! I live nearby and am super glad I decided to visit. I got a Groupon for 10 sessions and didn't start using it until it nearly expired unfortunately, but Andrew at Good Vibrations was kind enough to extend the duration so I could properly use all of the sessions, for which I am very grateful. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the classes are very small (I have been in a class with only one other student before!), which I didn't think I would like. However, I have really liked how personal the yogis can get--instructors will give guidance if you're in a pose that may be harmful to your body. And because the classes are small, there is a really great community feeling amongst studio-goers. Instructors remember a lot of students by name, which is such a good feeling - definitely builds up the community vibe. As a beginner, I find it really useful that their website describes classes and to which skill levels they cater. The mindbody site to register for classes is also really great because it not only has the schedule, but there are descriptions that help you find the class for you. Yoga Foundations class with Karen has been really great for my beginner yogi level. Another great thing about this studio is that there are materials that people can borrow for their practice - having bolsters, straps, and blankets available has been really great, especially since I don't want to spend money on my own for so many yoga tools. Though, it does definitely encourage me to get a set of my own... In general, I would definitely recommend this studio. I always feel great when I leave the studio, and I look forward to each class. Once my Groupon has been utilized, I hope to still be returning regularly.

The biggest downside of this location is that the classes are usually super packed, so get there early! It has two studios - one well lit, the other on the more subdued side. Both are clean, spacious and equipped with temperature controls fitting for various practice styles. The instructors are professional, well trained, helpful and encouraging / helpful to newcomers. Some of my favorites include Judy, Naomi, Hannah, Julie and Ryan but rest assured all are good. The free week is a hassle-free experience with no pressure to continue beyond the trial period. Ten and twenty class packages can be purchased as can memberships. CorePower is not a budget facility but I feel the price is commensurate with the studios and instruction. The men's locker room is small but clean and offers an abundance of lockers for use. Do note you must bring your own lock if you want to protect your valuables. Overall I would and have encouraged people interested in yoga to try out CorePower.

They have a nice entry way to leave your boots or shoes. They finally have a changing room and bathroom in the hallway not in the yoga studio. Awesome! YogaMN offers complimentary water, tea, or coffee. Their tea choices are fabulous! Cubby holes for your bags and a wall of hooks for your coats in the winter. There are two studios. The back one is for hot yoga and the front one is for their other classes. Intro to yoga, Barre, etc. I started out with their When Pigs Fly yoga. It was a wonderful relaxing stretching class for beginners. The perfect class after a day of sitting at a computer desk all day! Since it was on my birthday I could just bring a canned good for the class. Plus they had a great discounted deal for 5 classes for $50 that I had to take them up on. I hope to become a regular here. The receptionist and Yogi were both so warm and inviting. Remembering all of the regulars names and starting conversations with everyone. They even have additional classes about health, nutrition, communication and all sorts of rotating topics. This yoga spot is such a wonderful addition to Plymouth! I love it!

Both very different but equally wonderful. The studio is in a strip mall, but once you enter the front doors it's like it's own kind of paradise. They offer free tea and water, there is plenty of cubby storage for your things, and everyone is very welcoming and helpful. The only downside is that the smaller room gets a little cramped when the class is full, but the instructors handle it in stride and makes jokes about not tickling each other's feet. I have felt a slight air of judgement a few times from others in the class, but that can't be held against the studio, and I try my best to ignore it since I'm only there for myself (they're probably just jealous of my amazing savasana skills!) This place really is a wonderful break from the world, and I'm so glad they offer the free week to try all of the classes out!
