Wow I do not have enough good things to share about my experience with Shared Trinity, specifically Shené!! I am a first time parent and decided we could use some help with our newborn, mostly for overnights and it was the best decision we've made for ourselves so far! She came over on night 2 or 3 after we'd come home from the hospital and it was so reassuring to know someone was there with us who has had plenty of experience with babies, and specifically, breastfeeding babies. We were blessed w/ our little one this past January. The time in the hospital was great w/ support from the nurses/staff, but when the time came to bring her home, my wife and I were terrified w/o any safety net/support. Luckily, we booked Shene as a post partum doula to help us out. From the initial interview, she made us feel at ease and encouraged. With Shene's support, our baby not only survived, she thrived. We weren't going to use a doula but in my third trimester felt so overwhelmed with navigating the medical system and unsure of what to ask or options I had and so started to ask around about doulas. I'm so glad we found shene and I can't imagine going through my daughters birth without her. Shene is so kind and embodies the judgement free ethos I was looking for. She is straight forward and direct and I love how she keeps it real. She is also calm under pressure and provides a calming presence. I had to get induced which I didn't want to but shene was great at explaining what I might expect. It was a a long labor with way more interventions than I hoped for but shene was there with us in person or via phone to weigh our options and help us decide how to proceed. She also helped post partum which is where I think we really needed her services and support. She came to my house to help with lactation and just be a knowledgeable source of support. Long story long: hiring Shené was one of the best decisions me and my husband made as we became new parents. We interviewed multiple doulas, but none of them gave us an instant sense of peace and comfort the way Shené did. Not only was she so easy to talk to, she knew her stuff! She is everything we wanted in a doula and then some. Shene is amazing! She was recommended to me by my doula for placenta encapsulation services. She makes the instructions about what to do super easy, so there was no confusion. She was also extra sweet because my husband texted her to let her know when I was in labor, and then she arrived at the hospital in the parking lot after I gave birth but my husband and I were too focused and in love with our new baby girl to check our phones! She waited in the parking lot for us for over 30 minutes before we saw her text that she had arrived. If she was annoyed, she definitely didn't show it. She was super sweet. As for the capsules, she provides very clear instructions on how and when to use them. I have had solid milk production and never had postpartum, so I attribute both things at least in part to the capsules. I also ordered the placenta tincture from her, so I've been using those drops in some of my beverages when I've been stressed or feeling hormonal. In addition, I ended up using Shene for her lactation services. I have a large chest and had some trouble latching my daughter. Shene gave me some great pointers and things have been easier since then. She also has let me use her breast massagers for a few months now, and they have really helped when I've had breast pain or clogs. Shene is great at what she does and is also just an overall lovely person. She is a friendly burst of energy and has the warmest smile, which I think is important when your visiting emotional postpartum people. Her energy is contagious. Shené is such a breath of fresh air! We are first time parents to a beautiful baby girl and having Shené as our postpartum doula was the best decision we ever made! If it wasn't for Shené my breastfeeding journey wouldn't ended before it even started. I became engorged shortly after giving birth and was in a lot of pain and had no idea what to do. The day it happened I didn't think much of it but she knew I was at risk. She wasn't scheduled for a visit but she drove over right away to help me get the milk out to prevent things from getting worse. She really saved me. So of course I had come on here and leave a review for one best , Shene started was around for my whole pregnancy and birth which my son was born in July 2013 . I was one shenes first experiences with child birth . She was very helpful through out my pregnancy which I needed and she also was very helpful from the time I went into labor those 36 hours , those 36 hours I experienced the most pain I experienced ever due the fact my contractions were 2-5 mins apart we walked around for hours we went into the pool to help my contractions and and even helped me get in forms positions to help ease my contractions. The final day of my pregnancy we went to the hospital where she watched me give birth birth to my son which I was pushed out in 10 mins a very fast birth she was very supportive during the push process and after the care . She is very skilled and good at what she does she answers question quickly and efficiently.
