We have had many financial changes and issues over the time we've been with Chase after leaving the evil 5 and 3 quarters banking institution who charged for oxygen, and Chase has been a breath of fresh air. The bank itself is decorated nicely with an inside 24 hour ATM, inside you have coffee, refreshments and seldom have to wait. Plenty of drive ups as well. In a sentence, they have taken care of many problems which would have been MUCH bigger problems had they not been sympathetic to our situation and helped us as best they could to right any wrongs. Neither one of us have any sort of derogatory marks and in my 24 years have never been late on a payment. My debt to ratio is high but I cant claim my ebay sales or child support income to lower my ratio. We have 25,000 to put dont on the property. Tanner said it should be no issue. Filled out a application and he directed us to his co worker Troy to finish everything up. After 6 days from filling the app out we are told their investor will not approve our request citing we have to have At least a 700 credit score. My issue is we told Tanner and Troy our score and as you will see his email saying anything under a 720 we would have to put 25% down and its a 10 year loan which we fit into both. I would not bank here nore try and get a loan from here. My wife just went to USBANK and they have a way for us to get the money. Say yourself a headache and do your research.

I needed cash and to my surprise Bank of the West does not have any nearby branches. I used 1 of their Atms in the airport but there is a really low limit on the amount I can withdraw. Fith Third Bank was awesome enough to help me take out two seperate cash advances and take the time to add me to their system and process the transactions. This bank literally saved my butt. They helped make a trip from California to Ohio not be a complete waste of an entire day and money!! Thanks so much for all your help!

In January, I set up automatic mortgage payments to come out of my checking account at another bank…read moreand then the following Monday, I opened a checking account as well with VCB. I hand-delivered my mortgage payment in February and asked a question about a fee on my account. I was told that there were no fees listed. Then, because I wanted to make sure that it was clear which bank my automatic payments were coming out of, I asked the teller if it was coming out of my other account (since that was the one with the money in it). She said yes, but I wasn't sure she had registered which bank I had said and I repeated the question, including the name of my other banking institution to be sure that my automatic payments were correctly set up. She affirmed that I was all set up for automatic payments and the next payment would come out of my account. Well, the next month I received a statement that said that I had missed my payment and also that I had incurred a fee of $90. When I went to the bank to speak with them about it, the president told me that the teller couldn't have made the error she did because she would have had to be "brain-dead" to make a mistake like that and would be fired, so obviously it couldn't have happened and I was the one that was in the wrong; therefore, the fee stands. I feel like I was robbed. I sincerely hope no one else trusts the tellers or anyone else at Victory Community Bank to have their bests interests at heart; based on this experience, I feel that they are solely in banking for their own gain.
