I had a spring omelette with Brioche French toast, plus a side of S'mores Galore pie. The French Toast was pretty good, and the omelette tasted okay, though I thought the whole order was a bit lacking in substance to justify $12.99. The S'mores Galore pie, on the other hand, is really luscious and packed with flavor. Would recommend if you're a chocolate fan. I honestly think I'd go back to Shari's just for the pies. read more

Arrived around 7:30 on a Saturday morning. Place was already pretty busy. We ordered the farmers breakfast standard with stuffed hashbrowns and a biscuit & gravy and the country ham and cheddar breakfast with biscuit & gravy. The eggs, sausage, bacon and stuffed hashbrowns were cooked well and tasted good. The biscuits were ok and the gravy needs some work, was pretty bland. Believe there was only one waitress working, and boy was she working! She was nonstop back and forth with orders and sitting guests as they trickled in. Did take a while to get our check, but with one person running everything, didn't mind the wait, Will be back again. read more

Recently ate there with some friends from out of town. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. She kept trying to get us to buy a slice of pie, which is nothing wrong. But our food was terrible and my order was incorrect. One of my friends got the fried steak and said it was like eating the soul off of boot. I hear they have great breakfast. I don't frequent a Shari's very ofter, but this one could use some help. Something about the atmosphere just doesn't feel right...maybe the worn out furniture could be examined. The menu is typical, but the food I ordered just was only adequate. My omelet was burnt...re do it...then there wasn't any cheese...not anywhere...the nice waitress did go get some in a little dish so it could be sprinkled over the meal...but just wasn't the same. and I ordered the turkey bacon as a side dish...I didn't actually expect it to be broken up and put into my omelet. Well, I grew up frequenting Shari's (though it was a location a couple hours from here) and I have always loved their warm, homey feel and the consistency with which they prepare their food. As an adult, this is my favorite place to escape and do my homework, drink coffee, and have a warm meal in the process. Their menu is huge, so there are a ton of options. They're prone to make mistakes, just like any restaurant, but they are always willing to make it right, and nearly always with a smile. This particular location is clean and their servers and managers are always welcoming and positive. The coffee is fresh and hot, the meals are good and service is consistent! I'd take down the sign at the entrance that outside food and beverages are not allowed. That would have been the only way I was going to get water. Bring it in myself. me and my family went in to eat earlier tn and the service we got was really rude and rushed and they left our food aside to attend to what seemed like "customer favorites" so when we got our food it was cold and bland and wasn't enjoyable at all let alone we got probably the worst service out of everyone there. Went today for Mother's Day with the whole family. We actually come to Sharis a decent amount since it's an easy place for our family to find all that we want, however I do have to give this review only a 1 star rating for this specific visit. We had waitress Trina and she was horrible. Considering we are out celebrating Mother's Day, and also a family birthday as well, you'd think she could put on a nicer persona but instead all we got was an extremely rude seemingly cynical waitress which ruined the experience. We had a late arrival and she came up to ask what they wanted, they started to reply "uhm" as they were thinking, she rolled her eyes, sighed and in an extremely abrasive and rude tone she said "I'll just come back then!". I've been going out on the weekends lately for my favorite breakfast - steak and eggs. I've tried a bunch of places in Silverdale and Bremerton. Shari's on Bucklin Road has consistently prepared my sirloin (medium) done right. It's still juicy and tender. My scrambled eggs are good as well. I can't say the same for other places. Elmers is closed. Maynard's stopped carrying a breakfast steak. The Oak Table never offered steak with their menu. read more

LOOOOOORDT we had breakfast here and MAN OOOOH MAN it was DELICIOUS!!.. We both had the Breakfast sampler ( 2 pancakes, eggs with ham and cheese, hash browns, a sausage, and 2 bacon strips) . I had the regular hash browns and hubbz had the loaded hash browns (sour cream and cheddar cheese inside bacon and chives on top). The pancakes are beyond addicting I wished I had room for more. I don't know if I can say enough how DELICIOUS the food was. The only reason I gave a 4/5 was because the servers are OVER WORKED and this is the second location where the 2 servers are working 5-7 tables each and you have to wait longer to get anything. read more

Went for dinner last night. I ordered Oriental Chicken salad. My wife had salmon. Pre-Covid we went to another Shari's for salmon often and thought that it was good. My wife said that the salmon last night was only acceptable, but not as good as in the past. My Oriental Chicken Salad was not good. I could not finish it. The sauce was thick and not tasty. The noodles were not what most restaurants use. The chicken was little chunks, not very tasty. The service was decent. All things considered 2.5 stars would be appropriate. Went out with the girls for our last Fatty Friday before reminding ourselves to eat right. But that's not what this is about although the question is how was it and was it worth it? The service was good. Friendly, quick, and no excessive interruptions which I prefer when I go out to eat. Tiffany was her name and the 3 stars does not reflect her service. The 3 stars reflect the food. This was my second trip to Shari's. The first was back in April when my sis and I really wanted some breakfast late in the day after a trip to Seattle. We had been told by several people how awesome it was, they grew up with it, etc...During that trip the food easily took 45 minutes to get to us even though it was eggs and pancakes. And they were far from good. This trip was about milkshakes. I can't eat the famous pie milkshakes they are known for so ordered a simple chocolate one. I was not impressed. Maybe I've been spoiled by all the 50's diners I have inhabited (or even better yet loooong ago a little Woolworths in Pittsburgh...) but still I believe I should be impressed. I also ordered their parmesan tator tots because they said they were gf. They were edible and better than the milkshake, but very greasy. I doubt I will choose to come back myself. Don't judge a book by it's cover, by the cars in the parking lot, you would think this place was delicious. Well it's not, first of all let's start off with the severity and desperate dying need of better and more customer service. Megan was our waitress, after waiting about 6-10 mins, we had to actually ask for her. Once she was found by another waitress, She came over to our table, said she would gladly take our drink order, and food order at the same time, as she apologized for the time consumption, and misplacement of her action. Now, A normal customer would take the apology as she was going to improve or do better. Absolutely not, We were incorrect, and under the wrong impression of what an apology means, took even longer to bring out the rest of the order which was burnt, after receiving it, room temperature, and bad tasting. We had several items removed off our ticket, after showing her the cooks errors, wondering why would you even serve that, but we decided to chunck it all up as a completely horrifying experience. read more

I realize what Shari's should not not be evaluated only as a breakfast place, because what they are known for amongst locals is their pies, but I digress. My complaint about other reviews is that they seem shortsighted to me. I walked in and was seated in less than 1 minute, although they weren't at a busy time I could notice the atmosphere of the staff busying themselves as they serviced their customers. My complaints when the breakfast came (they btw have all-day-breakfast which is a plus) I ordered the eggs medium well and they seemed to lean over-easy, they did not ask me if I wanted the hash brown extra crispy, or not. The sausage was okay although they could have used a little more time on the grill. The waiter came to me around three times in a short span of time which was good depending on your preference. I had to wait a little bit when I finally got to order, which I have zero complaints about. The staff was friendly enough. My drinks ran out midway through this review. They never refilled my water, but the coffee was refilled thrice, at one time they should have asked me if I wanted more water. The food came in a timely manner though. The restroom were clean, but the rest of the establishment could use some vacuuming on its carpets. The seats were very comfortable and I could not seem to find any damages on them. The exterior would look amazing if they repainted it a little bit, and when I got here parking was very easy to find. The pies are great! The selection of their pies are great. The pricing for their pies are pretty good. Their food's prices are not so great, their biscuit cost a bit too much. I paid $18 in total for my meal including tip which is not too bad. All in all, I could see the place having a lot of room for improvement. If I could I would have given them 3.5 stars! read more

Shari's should have higher reviews... when compared to restaurants in it's class, Shari's is definitely above them. Shari's is a 24 hour "roadside" diner that delivers consistent food and service at all times of the day and night. We typically only go to Shari's for breakfast however have been there a couple times for lunch and dinner. No matter what time we go in, the food is always consistent, the prices always fair and the service always friendly. This time, as in nearly every other time, I had the chicken fried steak and eggs for breakfast with regular hash browns instead of stuffed. And yes, everything was cooked perfectly to order! The hash browns were crispy, the eggs were perfectly over easy and the coffee was hot! My husbands meat lovers skillet was just that, something for meat lovers. All kinds of wonderful bites tucked in a nice skillet sized portion. Our server was friendly and attentive and our food was served piping hot. Best part is always the cinnamon roll! I order mine with extra butter and hubby and I share it - my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Yes, you will typically wait for awhile to get a table, especially on a Sunday morning... well, any morning really! Sometimes that parking lot is pretty darned full at dinner time too. The coffee was good and she left a small carafe on the table so we could refill when we wanted. I hade the Spring omelette which was full of veggies and avacados. Yeah, we won't ever be back to dine in ever again. We came in after dinner rush and ordered shakes, apps, and pie. The shakes took longer than 10 minutes, and our TWO apps we ordered took over 45 minutes. I find this horribly inexcusable in a dining room with empty tables surrounding us. The waitress was just plain terrible at her job, left a table of four with 7 dining sets on the table. We asked for extra napkins and she took the silverware off of three of the extra settings and said "here you go". (We had a four and a three year old with us). She brought out the appetizers and gave us two extra plates for four people. Never checked on us and just plain didn't give a hoot. Feb 14th 2019 I was dining in at the Shari's in Silverdale, WA. Rebecca (354869) seated us and there was little to no traffic during the evening. My wife and I arrived around 10:00pm and were seated promptly and placed our orders quickly. We sat around for almost 1 hour for only to receive my wife's simple order of pancakes with strawberries and continued to wait for a Filet Minot with hash brown and eggs!!! The servers (implying all and not only one) seemed very distraught running around the place attempting to get things done with no traffic to remind you. After waiting 45 minutes for my meal I was treated poorly for requested a refill of water and disrespected for requesting a refund for receiving a burnt Filet Minot. If I knew any better, I would begin to believe the evening shifts waiter/waitresses/cooks are not adequate for their positions for not being able to fulfill a simple quick order in a timespan of almost an 1 hour!!! I was not overreacting and I would request that someone record the differences in time from initially placing in the order to requesting a full void on the entire order. Sharis Silverdale August 30th. This store does not even deserve one star. We were meeting with a worker of Kitsap County for breakfast on August 30th and (we thought we were suppose to meet in Port Orchard Sharis) so we spent $40 on breakfast and coffee in Port Orchards Sharis, then we found out we were in the wrong Shari's meeting place and promptly went to Silverdale Shari's. The manager came up to us and said rudely and brutality that" we need an order from this table or you cannot stay". We were all in so much shock no one knew what to say. The worker we were with said we would order something, (she had already ordered coffee) my husband ordered Orange juice. The orange juice was served in a hot glass. Then a waitress came and told us the same thing. The worker who asked us to meet there has had many meetings there and spends a lot of money (tips generously) per month there. We also eat at Shari's and order pies from them a couple of times a month. If I was not in the company of a kitsap county worker I would of asked for the district manager. In fact, I am going to write a detailed letter of my family's experience there. The tone of voice and body language of being asked to order or leave was so hostile that I would not even challenge this man in person because I would be afraid how he would react and for my personal safety and for the safety of those around me. This man should not be working in the public. I will never return to Shari's in Silverdale and I will make it well known to every person and rating site on the internet. It is unfortunate that this man would not listen or did not care that Shari's was not going to be out any money by us being there and that we had already patronized a Shari's that morning and all parties at our table have spent considerable amounts of money there. I will say they have a lot to learn from the Port Orchard store as they have been very accommodating to us two Saturdays in a row. Customer service was great, and they were all very kind to us. PS) The farmhouse breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, the biscuits are hard, not enough gravy and the bacon is bland and tastes like it was cooked in the microwave. However, I can over look those issues compared to the treatment of the manager there at the Sharis Silverdale store. I hope no one else has to experience the wrath if they order just orange juice and coffee or do not give them a order fast enough when they are meeting with people. ​My hope is that you will offer this manager another job that does not allow him to deal with the public. read more

This is our go to breakfast place. The people here are super nice. You don't wait an eternity for seating, food gets to the table hot, and they refill drinks expeditiously. The food is good, comfortable, sticks to your ribs type, and the menu is pretty diverse. And pie....there is much pie to be had. So far, I haven't met a Shari's pie I didn't like. So overall, it's a reasonably priced place with good food, great people, and loads o' pie. read more
