I received laser treatment for a toenail fungus. It cost 600 hundred dollars. When I showed up for a follow-up appointment (scheduled several weeks in advance), no one was there. No one answered the phone. I waited 20 minutes and finally someone came to the door (this was in the middle of the day). The owner was moving -- unaware that I had an appointment scheduled, although she had been present when I scheduled the appointment. She said that she would be there in 15 minutes. I returned, but she was not there. I was told that she was not coming in. I then called her back (twice, the first time there was no answer). She said that she had sent me a text message rescheduling. Since I had just spoken with her, I found this odd. I found it even more odd that the text message she said she sent went to a number that was not mine. I said that I was starting to worry that I was a victim of a scam. She said that was insulted and would not work with me any more. She said she would return my money the following week. When I called her the following week, she refused to give me a full refund -- despite the fact that it is a stated and advertised policy of her store -- but would only refund me 425 dollars.
