The other person clearly said during our check in that she haa a 10:40 and a 11:20 for her 2 kids. So, I was fine when they took one kid before us as the 10:40, then around 11:10, Julian calls up the other kid and when I asked that we have a 11am appt, he asks us to wait more. Of course my son loved this experience. He got to play video games while getting a haircut! We got exactly what we wanted. We did want a skin fade but the hairdresser was not allowed to do this so he did it as close as he could. I think for the area and the kiddos get to have fun plus a balloon and lollipop after - all of it is worth the price. read more

Probably more than what I would have liked to pay, $26.95 but that includes wash, cut, blow dry, nails painted - big hit! A balloon and ice cream as you leave. Hi, I just wanted to report that we had a very bad experience with the two associates at the Coppell location on December 11, 2022, at 1:00PM, which was our original appointment. I had things I was taking care of and we left to come over before 1 o'clock. They took a different appointment that came right around the same time as us after they already had my daughter dressed with a towel and waiting at the hair wash station. They then took her towel off and made my daughter wait for about 20 minutes in one of the little cars at a station. I think waiting that long got my daughter really tired because she's only two. She started crying when it was time for her to have her hair done and she had a very bad unpleasant experience, but we were already there and I wanted to go through with the appointment that we had waited so long for. Also, I don't understand why they don't offer option on the website to have a hair trim or bang trim for two-year-olds?! We had to pay $34 for a service that we could only use part of (a wash and cut)? Why did they do away with the trim service?! I don't think that was a good option for this franchise. Also, I think that my daughter was picking up on the negative and curt tone that the associates were speaking to me in while we were there. Anyways, they should have offered me a discount or have been a little nicer. They don't believe in good customer service obviously! They should have customers enjoy themselves while they are having a service performed, not unhappy and in misery!! It is a full salon experience for minis so definitely entertaining for the kiddos. There are movies, video games, little prizes and a balloon. Bright colors and very clean. We wanted to love it but the haircut itself was delivered pretty poorly. It is unfortunate as the hairdresser was very sweet and kind. I took my son for his first COVID haircut this past weekend and it was a wonderful experience! I was able to make a next day appointment online for a Sunday morning. I was told that Sunday mornings tend to be quieter and it was only us for the entire appointment. As part of their COVID protocol, staff are wearing masks, one adult is allowed to accompany a child, and temperature checks are done for both parent and child. Overall, the place was very bright, clean, and perfect for kids. Brittani was our hair stylist and did a really great job fixing the home COVID cuts we'd been doing for our son over the last year. She made sure my son was comfortable in his police car (he's 3) and quickly found a Netflix video (Thomas) to keep him occupied. She cut and styled his hair according to a picture and explained to both parent and child when she would be using a tool (e.g. clippers) and what it would feel like. My son left with a balloon and lollipop and was just so happy the entire time. We will definitely be back to Sharkey's - thank you Brittani for making it a wonderful first experience! read more
