The places is nice. They offer hair cuts for kids and adults which works out for my family. When you walk in they have two fridges full of drinks from soda to beer and they let the adults choose what they'd like to drink while they wait for the cuts to be completed. i went in for a haircut 1/29/26. i will never go back. my neck was red from scratches and knicks for 2 days from the shave. the back of my hir does not sit down and sticks up bad. the sides are uneven, i can clearly tell that one side was cut shorter than the other. i VERY specifically said to leave extra length and that did not happen at all. the top was cut way too short and now sticks up in the front left and sits too flat on the right causing a funny look. im not allowed to wear hats at work but im not comfortable in my own hair now. i tried to call to ask what could be done and the "manager" and "worker" had nothing to say other than to come in for styling tips. total cost was about 80$ and the comfort in my own body. 0/10 stars. avoid place if possible read more

Fast Food haircuts... beware! This location has gone downhill and escalating prices with hurried services is the latest trend. My new stylist sat me down without even asking how I prefer my cut. She proceeded to razor the sides as high as possible to give an awkward shape to my head which now resembles a rugby ball. There was zero communication during the cut to inquiry about my preferences. The whole goal was to get me in and out as quickly as possible. Additionally, my neck line is fashionably zigzagged and I was left with a souvenir razor cut on my lower neck. Now I will be waiting for the scab to heal in addition to my hair to grow back. Please avoid at all costs. This place is a Wendy's masquerading as an elegant steakhouse....and with the new prices, I could have gotten a steak instead. read more

I flew into Dallas for work and needed a haircut and beard trim badly. I called several places that either didn't answer or didn't have appointments available. I was able to get an appointment in 20 minutes here, showed up and was immediately greeted and checked in. Within 30 seconds I was in the chair where I had the best haircut of my life. Brandon took his time making sure every line in my hair and beard were straight, then he cut the left half of my beard as short as possible while leaving the right untouched and showed me in the mirror allowing me to visualize a before and after. He made sure I was comfortable with the straight edge before shaving and was so gentle I barely felt it. I've honestly never had such a great experience getting a haircut. I'm sure every employee is as outstanding as Brandon, but I can personally guarantee a fantastic experience and haircut with Brandon. Horrific. My beard was trimmed terribly. I could do a better job myself. I'm honestly not sure how you can leave that much hair. Tons of half inch hair was left behind my ears on both sides when it was supposed to be cut to 0 as well. Just sloppy work. read more

Eugene cut my hair and I am not sure if 1) he was in a hurry or 2) thought I was in a hurry or 3) thought I would be impressed by how fast he could wield the scissors and comb combination. In any event, the experience in the chair was pretty disconcerting and uncomfortable. I didn't say anything as I have learned that it's best not to antagonize someone with a scissors in their hand. Used to be my go to salon fr about 2 years and when I went recently for my kid, after his hair cut, they asked how it looked & I asked back 'would you mind trimming on the sides a bit more?' thinking they wanted me tell if there is anything else needed to do. I got a response ' next time this will be an extra amount' . I do not mind paying extra but dint like the tone. I just paid amount+ tip and walked out. Not good. I asked for a fade and I actually liked the haircut a good amount. This is where the problems start 1. The haircut was around $36(not including tax) which is pretty expensive and not only that...THEY MAKE YOU MANDATORY TIP...I didn't see the mandatory tip sign and they essentially embarrassed me in front of everyone there by pointing out the sign to me and then explaining to me that I MUST tip in a very condescending tone. I was embarrassed as the other barbers stopped cutting to listen in on the conversation. I could tell that this place is not it as I think the customer deserves some respect especially from a place that advertises itself as elite. Their reason was Covid but I haven't ever seen any other business add $5(at the min)mandatory tips. I'm gonna go back to great clips where I get treated as a customer. read more

Alright so I had always gone to Floyd's because that's where I was told to go. After going to Cool Heads, this is my new place. It's quieter, more relaxed. Everyone is so nice and super friendly. I was looking for a men's cut. Joletta cut my hair perfect and made sure I loved it before I left. She didn't just style it for me, she taught me how to style it. I've already booked my next appointment. The hot towel head massage almost made me fall asleep. Definitely relaxing. You just feel good after leaving there. The online booking is an awesome perk. They serve alcohol if you want. They have a great waiting area so you're not just sitting there bored. Great location. Very clean in salon and bathroom area. Lots of parking. The place is very nice and it was pretty cool/unique that they have a video game console to play while you're waiting. Haircut wise though, which is obviously the most important part here, was decent at best. It's a little concerning hearing the person cutting your hair talk to her coworker about how tired she is as she's cutting your hair... She mentioned she was so tired because by the time she got home from wherever the night before, she'd only had a couple hours of sleep before having to go into work. She also mentioned how puffy her eyes were when she woke up (a stylist with puffy eyes isn't a great thing to hear). The haircut was decent, but not one that will make me return. The place is clean and decorated well, price was about $45 (gratituity included, 20% is mandatory but I do not mind as long as the haircut is up to par). I made a reservation here and when I came in they told me that they don't see my appointment and I can do walk in and wait there, I waited for 45 minutes while barbers was just taking between each other while I'm patiently waited! I had a horrible experience with an apathetic staff, and now apparently an apathetic corporate office. I had a bad experience and left, then wrote the corporate office with the email on their website. Below is the email I sent on June 14th, with still no reply as to today's date. "Hi, I'm not sure if you're the type of company that cares about when they lose a customer, but just in case you are, I thought I'd let you know what happened to me today. I had an appt at 3pm at your Las Colinas location. I arrived at 2:54pm. I checked it and sat down to wait. 3pm came and went, everyone looked busy, so I didn't say anything. Finally after one of the stylists finished with a customer, I noticed that she wasn't coming over to greet me. My appt was with "first available". Finally at 3:23pm, the girl that was sweeping up the floors and stocking the machines finally came over to me and told me that they were short staffed -- someone had called in -- and that they would get to me as soon as possible. I said fine. At 3:31 pm someone came in, checked in, and went over to the chair to sit down with the available stylist. I understand that people have appointments -- after all that's why I made one. But to make someone that has an appointment wait for 23 minutes before you even say anything to them, and then take someone else in front of them, is just unacceptable. I just moved to this area and thought I had found a place to get my cuts at, but obviously I was wrong. I hope this can be a learning experience if you decide to use it. For example: Joletta is the kind of stylist that you know when you sit down, that you're never going to walk away with anything but an A+ cut and style. She will make your eyebrows look like amazing like never before as well. My husband does the yearly subscription there and she works Joletta works that magic 2x a month for him. His fade is 10/10 at ALL TIMES. Their products are all good. There is an aftershave in a semi-clear blue bottle; BEST IVE USED YET. Can't remember the name. The lay-rite blue container, also epic product. I swear they didn't make me right this. I have had some of the other stylists as well. It was always great. Haven't done any shave services. Went here during lunch for a simple buzz cut. I cut my hair weekly so very easy cut, just shave it. Since I sat right down, I didn't ask how much. I was charged $36 for the same buzz cut I pay $10 at my local barber. Then, on top of that, they have "mandatory" tipping of a minimum of 20%, even though that is illegal. Tipping is optional. When you make it mandatory, it's no longer a tip but an added service fee. Did the woman cut my hair right? Yes, but how hard is it to run clippers across a shaved head? I won't go back, that's for sure. And if they say it's because they are like "The Boardroom," well, that's a lie. They had drinks there but offered me nothing.
