My son has severe sensory issues. He used to scream until he would be sweating while getting his haircut. The ladies at Sharkey's were still so patient and just understood him. I tried going far in between hair cuts because it was just an exhausting thing for him and for a parent to watch. his sensory sensitivity included his hair being brushed so eventually he needed a haircut as his hair would get fuzzy and tangled. But after going time and time again, my son now has recognized the staff is safe & fun. He gets excited to get his haircut now & does not any negative emotions while we are there. He is now at the age where he likes video games so he picks out a seat that allows him to play Xbox while getting his haircut cut. That have many different seating options for ages. When he was 2 he would sit in the police car or fire truck. Then at the end he gets a sucker & a balloon! In all THEY ARE AMAZING AND THE KINDEST. They are more than equipped for neurodivergent kids. I had an absolutely amazing experience here and highly recommend this place this place to everyone. I know that this "Sarah W" person is a straight up "Karen" and shouldn't be listened to. I've taken my 2 year old here twice and both times, they were incredibly patient and communicative. The quality was good, considering my little boy is a wild animal and squirms a lot. We had an appointment with Wendy and she did an excellent job with my 3 yo's hair! She listened to exactly what I wanted and was so kind to my son who as a toddler can be pretty shy around strangers. We went to a different kids salon in OKC and this was a much better experience. read more

Kaitlynn is great! She's been cutting my 5 year olds hair since he was 2 and he looks forward to seeing her. He went from hating haircuts to be excited about them thanks to her! The staff is all very friendly and welcoming and the place is kept really clean. read more

Love them! My child loves the games (fortnight or Roblox) he can play while they cut his hair. They are always super nice and patient.
