My hair stylist cancelled on me Saturday so I decided to look for a new place. The reviews were pretty good for this place so I decided to give it a try. I was wanting to cut off around 7 inches of my hair and have been ready to for a very long time! I called and they got me in quickly. Phillip was so nice, professional and did a great job! He knew my haircut was a dramatic one so he cut off a bit and let me get a feel for it to make sure I wanted to go shorter. I did! He got it the exact length I wanted while making sure I was comfortable with it. The current restrictions make the experience a bit more weird and strange but I felt right at home and welcomed! I was finally able to get my hair done as COVID restrictions were lifting. I picked this salon based on Yelp reviews. I got my appt and was reminded that I needed to bring a face mask. Called the stylist and she came out to my car wearing her face mask. With my mask on, We walked in, then she instructed me to sanitize my hands, and then she took my temperature. As I was getting my perm and talking to my stylist, I observed every stylist there strictly adhering to COVID protocols mandated by our Governor and the CDC. The entire salon was constantly being cleaned after use. WOW! So, I think I will continue with having my hair done here. It's clean cute, and very professional. Highly recommend. read more

Kristan shaffield did a terrible job. She is unreliable and hard to communicate with. She took days to respond to her text, canceled with less than 24hr notice after booking the appointmentweeks in advance, and instead of rescheduling she suggested I find another hair stylist that "fits my schedule" and mind you I was very flexible with my schedule. I saw far better stylist at this salon, with way better communication skills however I will not be returning because of this experience. read more

So I'm one of those women that have had the same hairdo for 15 years give or take. I've changed the color but I couldn't bring myself to cut up. So I finally go the nerve and started scouting my local yelp for someone that would be gentle when I chopped off like 10 inches of hair lol. Sorry guys. I know you don't understand but this was HUGE. I called the beehive and they hooked me up with Sarah the next morning. When I got there I realized I forgot my phone . No photo of my picture I wanted. No problem. Her and I jumped into social media and found it. Thank goodness for the internet. She took her time and cracked jokes with me along with the other ladies in the salon. So laid back made me feel so relaxed. She did my hair three different ways so I'd know how to style it when I leave. Who does that. Talk about customer service!!! This was an amazing experience!!! My stylist, Sarah, is earnest, pleasant, and knowledgeable, and she is very eager to make sure I get what I want. I've had a blow out here, and a Keratin straightening treatment. I searched for salons with the best ratings before coming here. I saw someone's recommendation of Sarah and I went to get a perm from her. I'm SO glad I did! Sarah is very down to earth and friendly. I came back another time with my son for a kids haircut and she was amazing with him. She is such a pleasure and her prices are very reasonable. The building is clean and nice, and they even have a few toys in the waiting area for kids to play with. This is a place you can go into and be comfortable. It's not a bougie, stuck up, place (as a lot of Edmond salons can be). And bonus, they're just a few doors down from that big liquor store, haha. This review is for one of the stylists at Beehive, and not the entire salon. I was given a perm by Staci Underwood 3 1/2 months ago. I specified that I wanted curl but NOT FRIZZ. I should have run out the door when she asked my opinion on the size perm rods she should use.The rods used were too small and the perm was too strong for my color treated hair. My hair was fried beyond repair. I have spent a small fortune in the past 3 months on every type of hair repair treatments available. The only solution is to have it cut off. On top of everything else, I now need to buy a wig to wear to my daughters wedding in September. I am a firm believer in giving praise when it is due and I also believe in warning others not to make the same mistake I did. read more

I go see Olivia to get my nails done, I was just there yesterday and she is amazing! I know so many people are concerned right now but it's absolutely safe and clean at Beehive salon. They are very detailed and concerned about sanitizing and everyone wears their masks and they take your temperature when you first arrive. I love it there and was so excited to be able to go back since the re-opening. New to town and don't know anyone so I picked this salon because it was close to my house. Had a 3:30 appointment with Natalie and about 3:00 I received a call to tell me she was running behind and I could come at 4:00 so I didn't have to wait. Immediately called me back and told me to bring cash/check because their credit card machine was not working. Arrived at 4 and waited about 10 minutes. Showed her a picture of myself and how I wanted my haircut. She proceeded to give me the worst haircut I've had in my life! After about 50 minutes, I told her everything was fine. I wanted her to just STOP so I could get out of there. I am very laid back and am not that particular about my haircuts, but I would not recommend using this place at all! One of the worst experiences of my life!! Then...today I get a call from Natalie telling me to bring cash because the cc machine was not working. I told her I came yesterday and brought cash. She said "Oh I guess I called the wrong number. But wait, isn't your husband coming today?" Told her no and hung up. Apparently she can't keep a schedule, plan appointments appropriately, use the phone accurately nor use scissors. If I could give zero stars for a rating, that's what this place deserves!! read more
