I placed a large DoorDash order that included pans of chicken and fish. The food itself was really good--seasoned well, fresh, and definitely a crowd-pleaser! However, there was an issue with delivery: the DoorDash driver opened the food, which is a huge no-no for such a large and sealed catering-style order. Thankfully, the staff at the restaurant noticed this and called me right away. I truly appreciated them catching it and taking the time to let me know rather than letting it be delivered in that condition. this place did not look clean. i should have been cautious when there was a small ant on the counter. the intake person was unprofessional and very rude. how do you crook your finger at someone to let them know their order is ready. lastly the fish did not taste like what was ordered. why were the fries so greasy. for the price they can forget about me returning. thank God we did not get sick. read more

Horrible my catfish filets were mushy and too salty. They don't have any flavor in the batter so the chicken is plain unless u add Lemon Pepper. DONOT add lemon pepper it's nothing but MSG which will run your blood pressure High. I asked the kid not to add lemon pepper please!! So what did he do he added lemon pepper to both orders. I didn't know till I got home. I checked in the car but didn't see the sparkling white powder cause it was 10pm. I was so upset and called them and no answer. The kids ate the dinner but it tasted so salty I was miserable. I woke up the next day with a headache from the MSG Lemon pepper. I called them Saturday the next day and they sd Sorry. Drove all the way here from Homewood. Waited in the lobby to have rude ass woman ask me if I placed online or call in order and I said no. Then she rather coldly told me that they are behind and shorthanded and will not be taken anymore orders. She then walked away. I asked why not and she said because they are behind and need to catch up. I won't be back. She could have at least asked what my order was. It was just for one person. Called the location on 0717/14 at about 9:30 pm. The cashier in which were taking my order answered the phone while having a conversation with another employee. I had to bring her to my attention by saying "Hello". She stated : I here you and continued to complete her conversation with the employee in which she was talking to. When I finally placed my order it was as if I was just a number. Her comment was: Do you want lemon pepper? I say no, she said ticket number 85 and hung-up. This has got to be one of the most un- professional place I have ever had to deal with. The problem starts with Management.........Customer service should come first, weather in person or on the phone. More training is needed. IJS read more
