Recently moved from the city to the South burbs and Perros Bros was one of the first places I found and loved so far. However tonight I decided to order from Perros since their Gyros Plate was my favorite cheat meal. This is by far the worst Gyro I have ever received in my life . I really wanted to like this place because the reviews are really good and the guy working was extremely friendly. However, my tomato had a black hair on it. I did take a photo and will post it. I ordered online for pick up and I did not want tomato, lettuce or mushrooms on my chicken Philly, but there's no way to customize on there. So that was a little disappointing because I had to basically pick out everything I did not want. The chicken meat was seasoned well, but a couple pieces almost had like a rubbery feeling that you could not bite through. The other sandwich had the same issue. The peppers, cheese and mayo was good. The hair on the tomato really grossed us out though. Fries were decent. They do have parking and a good selection of drinks. read more

Went last night 6/27/26. I ordered the 2 Cheeseburger meal and a steak burrito with everything that comes on it. Burgers were ok my son enjoyed them. I thought they tasted mediocre salt and pepper can go a long way!!! Now my steak burrito had so much gristle in it and i couldn't even enjoy it. Sucks because the flavor was doable or manageable but the almost cracking my teeth on gristle is not. It was too late in the evening to go back to the restaurant...Hopefully they will reach to fix a new one or offer a refund. read more

This is my spot in the (BURBS)... I'm from Chicago so in the suburbs it's difficult to find comparable foods that can compete with the city but Perros Brothers get reeaaalll close. Just don't get their Corned beef sandwich... Just NO! ...lol. The place is usually nice and clean and orders come up relatively quick and their fries are great. I've ordered quite a few items and with the above exception everything else was pretty good. My bestie ordered a polish and wasn't too happy due to them deep frying it a bit too long which made it tough but I digress... I've eaten here so many times!!!! I've always always ordered the gyro plate and never anything else. The day I really want Babas--- but did't feel like driving to the best one I know I tried Perros. MAN--- biggest mistake of my inner fat girl. The bread was DRY. The meat was dry it wasn't even enough meat inside the bread for crying out loud?!? Barely any cheeses. The gyros--- now those are on point thus far. However, don't order NOTHING else you would from somewhere else or you WILL be disappointed. Cost me $80 including delivery fee and tip. read more

Cheap somewhat Greek if you can call it that food that's more American than anything else. It claims to be a Greek restaurant but has food like burgers and fries. Perros Brothers has been in Olympia Fields a long time. Among the favorite of the far south suburbs for some reason, it must be the fish and chips. There's limited vegetarian choices but you can get a salad. A lot of Greek restaurants around here actually serve American food. It's not unusual to see things like hot dogs in these kind of restaurants. This may make you wonder where's the hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and other Greek things like those? Answer is, not here. They do have gyros, and Greek salad. A cool thing are the fountain drinks. It's $1.99 for a regular. They have interesting flavors and they're colorful too. Among these is the Green River. This is bright green and likely is extremely sugary. Greek Salad is among the few vegetarian choices. It's $5.49 for a pretty big one. This comes with cucumbers, olives, and tomatoes. Has some pretty bad service and they're slow and mess up orders a lot. It seems kind of unclean but not extremely messy. Everyone should pay attention to their money. There is no sign making customers aware there is an additional charge when using your credit card or debit card. They will give you a receipt as if they only charge you for your order. In reality they are not giving you the correct receipt. Example: The price of your order is $10, right. The truth is your bill was actually $13. This is unacceptable. I asked for the real receipt of what I being charged and basically was told off. How can you act as if you are charging the price plus tax and that it. When you are charging your customers for using their debit card or credit card. Trying to make me look like a fool. The service was even better, but I can say I ordered the rib tips and that wasn't rib meat that I was served so that's the only thing I could say. from the taste, from the look, from the structure, that wasn't rib meat, but it was tasty whatever meat it was tasty .. Ordered carryout last Sunday via the drive-thru because no one picked up the phone. It wasn't busy, so there was no wait. -Super Gyros: This was gigantic and so good, on par with Mr. Greeks in Greektown. I got extra cucumber sauce, but I wish I got an extra pita too. This was two meals for me. I probably would have been happy with the junior gyros. -Broccoli Cheddar Cheese (side order): These are actually broccoli cheddar BACON bites and now my new favorite fried appetizer. -Philly Steak: This was the most disgusting cheesesteak I've ever had in my life. The meat was tough, chewy and cartilaginous. There wasn't that much beef either. The beef was cut into thick pieces and was very dry as well. There was some weird sweet cream sauce on it. Compared to competitors like 'Dean's Gyros' in neighboring South Chicago Heights who's Gyros meat is dry and crusty (especially after they slice it and throw it on the grill...for whatever reason), the folks at Perros Brothers' meat is juuuuicy...and portions are plentiful! A whole lot of food for not a whole lot of money is the name of the game at Perros Brothers gyros. They do take credit cards but also have an ATM inside as they do not except American Express. You can get quarter pounder double cheeseburger with fries and a soda for 599 ,grill chicken on pita bread for 509 ,Philly cheesesteak for 549 ,a Reuben sandwich for 555 ,as well as a shrimp basket with fries for 559. They have these awesome fried bites called broccoli cheddar cheese bites, they are served with a side of marinara and they taste great. I had a chicken gyro with feta and fries and it was way more than I expected, it was big enough for two. I also ordered a medium Greek salad with chicken it is a large portion as well, I will definitely be back due to their extensive menu and due to the fact that all that food I ordered , see photos, cost less than 23.00, it really cannot be beat. read more

Great tasting gyros but I would not recommend you buy near the end of the day as you might get meat that has been cooked for a while and overcooked if you're not careful. Otherwise, a great gyros sandwich if you buy a gyros plate I would recommend buying an extra pita as it's more than enough to serve two. read more

Something changed here. Was told it was sold to new owners a couple years ago. The gyros didn't have the volume or flavor they used to. Same guys weren't working there. Portions seemed skimpy.
