I ordered a few landings so that I could try a few selections. I started with a bowl of lobster bisque. Unlike lobster bisque at a lot of restaurants, this was creamy like what you get at restaurants in the Atlantic Northeast. My second landing was cornmeal crusted oysters. These came as deep-fried oysters over creamed spinach and topped with an aioli. I am not a fan of oysters as-is, but deep fried and served the way they were at Flossmoor Social, I would certainly order them again. Food coming to the table in quick succession results in diners speeding through the dishes. When food is flavorful, it should be savored, not rushed.
