I walked in on a slow night for a mani/pedi and they took me in with no problem. I needed hard gel nails removed which is a time consuming process. Quickly realized I was the only guest left during my pedicure. They started removing the gel as my pedicure was getting under way. They were extremely gentle and never rushed me. Oftentimes, having gel removed is uncomfortable due to the nail bed being thin and neglected. But they were extremely gentle the entire time. So grateful for their service! read more

I posted this review under Spring Lake Nails because I believe it used to be Sharon Nails but was renamed. Wish I had known. Rogelia did my pedi and it was excellent in all ways. The salon is very clean and airy. I only gave three stars for two reasons. 1. I was switched to Angela for a Dazzle manicure (don't know why) and it was so bad I took the polish off the minute I got home and then had re-file the rough edge of two nails. 2. The selection of Essie polishes is very limited. I also didn't see any place for a chair massage while drying. I would have been prepared if I had read other reviews first. Nonetheless, I will go back for a pedi with Rogelia. If she can not do the mani, I'll go elsewhere for that. read more

I have been going to Jessica for my nails for quite some time now. Probably three years. In the past I have jumped around from place to place maybe sticking around for a little while and then leaving. Since finding Jessica, I find it to be a waste of time to have my gel manicure done anywhere else. She does the most amazing job. The pedicures at Sharon nails are far superior to anywhere else in the area. All of the girls do an amazing job. They are thorough and give an amazing massage. Pedicures are elite I will say that. The girls they have doing it there are amazing and that is why I even give them two stars. However I got "dip" done and it was done so wrong. I have been getting dips done for over 4 years and she first used UV which is a big no no. She also never used the curing liquid on my nails. They are so flimsy and I am so worried that they will break. Secondly the woman was one of the most rudest people ever. She insisted on adding multiple "builder" gels on top of my nails which burned so badly under the UV and then when I took my hand out because it hurt she yelled at me. To add to it she charged over SEVENTY DOLLARS for this trash. I have never had to pay that much for "dips" in my entire life. Do not go here if you don't want to ruin your nails. read more

Backwards gel pedicure! First time and a walk in. They were able to squeeze me in, and start within minutes but it went downhill after that. One tech shaped my nails and then handed me off to another. This person either doesn't know what they are doing or doesn't really care how they do it. Never have I had a place put on the gel polish and then soak my feet and do the scrubby stuff. The massage was lackluster. She constantly kept putting my feet back under the UV light up until I was out of the chair and going to pay. She wanted me to sit again under it. After all that scrubbing and water, how could they not be dry?! She didn't even towel off the lotion enough. My feet were sliding in my flip flops. Update: My nails are so thin that they're snapping off. When I went to get fixed at another salon the manicurist was shocked at how thin my nails are on my nail bed. At Sharon Nails my nails were filed down to the nail bed. read more

Had a gel manicure at this establishment yesterday. Definitely not worth the $40.00 plus tip I paid. The technician was very unfriendly and disinterested in doing my nails. I asked for help picking a color and she hands me a basket full of samples. Very rude. My nails look hideous. They are thick and bumpy, the ends are not properly coated and look sloppy. She also did not properly clean up my cuticles. What a huge waste of money!!!! Won't be going back. They charge more than other salons in the area. I try to give a salon a few trips before I commit. In this case it was probably unnecessary but today was my third trip to Sharon Nail and my first pedicure with the company. The pedicure was considered their basic run of the mill pedicure compared to others available but it was, to me, quite luxurious. The foot bath had a plastic insert for cleanliness. The warm water was scented, the massage of my feet and legs was lengthy, and there was a lotion massage as well. The technician provided a hot stone foot massage and wrapped plastic containing a warm honey colored gel on my heels while she painted my toes. The fluid seemed to have softened my calloused heels and it felt fantastic. In addition, the woman who performed my pedicure was kind even when I shook from being ticklish. My manicure involved the full shellac system. I say the full system because some salons mix products without asking, lowering the quality. This manicure was expertly and quickly performed and the technician checked my toes and gave them an additional quick dry top coat before I put my flats on to assure my toes had dried. To be honest the prices are higher than I am used to. However, I appreciate the care and quality of product with which they do their work. This is my new nail place and I am more than pleased with the change. read more

Beautiful salon, pedicure chairs have plastic lining, they use disposable files so you are the only one who touches them. They have an array of colors with vegan nail polish options. The lady that i had was absolutely wonderful. She gave a really nice leg massage and it wasn't just a 5 min massage it felt like 20 min. i started to dose off! My favorite part was the hot stone and paraffin wax. She used the hot stones in the massage and then she put paraffin on my heels. What a wonderful treat! I think I may have been one of this salons biggest supporters telling all the local people to go here but slowly over the past year it has completely gone from bad to completely HORRIBLE. Today the girl started to gel polish my nails with old polish still in the creases and crevices. When I pointed it out to her , she went on a verbal rant in Korean .... While this is typical , I find it soo completely rude ... When she finished cleaning the one hand she THREW my hand back at me and told me to "check it !!" Upset to write this review but the way I was treated in here was appalling. I never make reviews or comments but this was out of line and a horrible experience. When making the appointment on the phone I made it for 2 gel pedicures and one with an acrylic toe nail put on. When I arrived, I also told the girl I needed that done. When she went to polish I reminded her, she went to get someone to do this and a man/ salon manager walked over and told me they didn't have the time, it was 6:15 they closed at 7 (and my appointment was made for this) and anyone who gets acrylic knows it takes a short time to do 1 nail. The man was extremely rude and undermining to me and disrespectful to my mother and made a scenes in the salon and told her to "do it yourself then". If he is the owner he is absolutely setting the wrong example and going to lose a lot of regular customers definitely us being two of them who come every month. I work in the customer service industry as well, my mother is an education and a licensed cosmetologist as such she will be reporting this to the state board of cosmetology. The customer is always right is an unspoken rule and have never treated someone with such a nasty attitude whether they were right or wrong. Along with this, at 630 they started cleaning the entire salon and moving everything around... isn't a pedicure supposed to be a relaxing experience??? if you close at 7 don't offer a 5:45 pedicure appointment. It is sad because the girls are very nice and we love coming here but I will make sure to spread the word to everyone in the area about the rude way we were treated and spoken to. read more

I had a spa pedicure with Erica (a rare splurge!) and it was wonderful! She was kind, gentle and did an excellent job on my feet. It is a splurge at $75 but she worked for 1 hour and 20 min on my legs and feet. It included calus removal (my feet look so much better!), masks, scrub, paraffin heal treatment and a massage followed by hot stones. The actual pedicure was meticulous. All I can say is "WOW!!! I deliberately waited 4 days to write this review to see how my natural nail manicure would hold up and WOW!!! It has not even chipped or shown any amount of wear. I'm not terribly careful with my hands after a manicure, and I am truly amazed at how well it's holding up!! Grace was my nail technician and she is wonderful! Very attentive and meticulous! The Salon itself is spotless and a new file kit is used for each client. RUN, don't walk to Sharon nails to get your manicures! EXCELLENT!!!!! read more

Very nice and clean nail salon with very reasonable prices and an excellent array of polishes. My massage today was the best I have EVER had! Starting with a massage scrub and continuing with a long massage with lotion and then ending with a stone massage. My pedicurist was very friendly, pleasant and extremely attentive to my foot needs ! My search is over... After a few disappointing (even unsanitary) experiences, I have finally found myself a new nail salon! This is by far the nicest, cleanest "walk-in" salon I've ever been to. The ambiance is lovely and relaxing, and the services were very well done. The pedicure stations all use disposable liners, which is so fantastic! Why isn't this an industry standard, by the way?! All of the tools came out of an autoclave and the heel scrubber was also disposable. So I definitely give it 5 stars on cleanliness! The foot and leg massage were absolutely wonderful, replete with a hot stone, warm towel wrap and paraffin heel treatment! I got a gel manicure and was really impressed with the work station. It has the light boxes built right in! This salon is definitely years ahead of other similarly-priced salons, in terms of equipment and amenities. The prices may be slightly higher than others in the area { I paid $65 for a gel mani and spa pedi } but it's worth the extra few bucks! First time going to the place. Pedicure is amazing that includes massage, hot stone massage, scrub, etc. Marcy did the pedicure and Jessica the manicure. Both very good at what they do and very nice. Owner was also very nice too. If I had just gone for the pedicure alone, i probably would've given this place 4 stars for the lengthy massage and attentiveness of the technician (one star off because the paint job wasn't that great). But I also scheduled a gel manicure and this completely turned me off. I have a feeling that some of the technicians are great, but these people are reserved for customers getting acrylics. I had Kim, who did the sloppiest job on my gel manicure. I had to have her fix 5 out of my ten nails. The reason? She painted over my cuticles, and only when I pointed it out multiple times and asked to speak with the manager did she fix it. Anyone who's gotten previous gel manis, knows that if the polish is painted over the cuticles, then as your nail grows out the paint will peel off after a week instead of lasting the 2+ weeks it should. And when I pointed out another messy nail at the end, she just ignored it and asked for payment. Finally the manager came over, but in my opinion it was too late. She should've come over when I was having my initial complaints which she was aware of. She wanted me to wait so she could fix it, but this was after I had already spent 90 minutes there. She told me to come back another day, but I don't have time for that. For $35 for a gel manicure, I shouldn't have to come back to have it fixed. If your shop has the nerve to charge that much, it should be perfect the first time around. At the very least, they should've given me a discount for the sloppy work. I just moved to Sea Girt and me and my sister have been looking for a nail place. We decided to check Sharon Nail out and we loved it! We both got shellac (gel) manicures and regular pedicures. My nails look fab and the pedicure was one of the best pedicures I have ever gotten. Blew my place at my old home out of the water! The staff is nice and everything is sanitary. The pedicure baths are have a plastic liner that they replace for every person so that each person has a clean bath. We are definitely coming back!! read more
