This was my third visit to Eden. I wanted to get just a pedicure today but I was so pleased with my nail technician that I asked her if she had time for a manicure. My nails are short and in much need of a little TLC from working in a preschool and washing my hands a 1000+ times a day. I had my nails done for my nephew's wedding last month, they were just ok ... Third time absolutely the charm! The nail technician made my short nails look so good! Not to mention, my feet, legs, hands and back feel so good after such a great massage! I know in the future I will be booking an appointment with Shayla! I can't thank her enough for such great customer service! I highly recommend Eden. Very clean and very accommodating. Massage consisted of a brief rub on my legs and feet (approximately 1 minute), sugar scrub placed on my legs and feet and then rinsed off without even rubbing it in and exfoliating. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the woman at the front desk, she said "oh, she's usually pretty good" and I said unfortunately that was not the case today, and she said "what do you expect for $35?" I really had high hopes for this salon we're fairly new to the area. I booked a gel fill in and pedicure. They asked me if I was ok with a male and I said yes. I added the callus treatment and he seemed annoyed. He was extremely rough with my feet. While using the sharp grater my foot wasn't held properly and it got stuck in my third toe and took the nail off down to the nail bed. He didn't even notice, wrapped my feet in the plastic wrap: it was bleeding. Until he went to the foot he then noticed it was bleeding and acted like he didn't know what happened. He put a band-Aid and Neosporin said sorry and continue doing all of my other toenails. I held back the tears. It really hurt and I was getting my toes done to wear open toe shoes the next night. When I asked can the toe nail be fixed he applied a liquid Band-Aid and tried to paint over it. If I didn't need my toenails painted. I would have left right then and there. It was late in the day Friday and we were headed into the city the next morning. I got my nails done they're decent. When I got up to pay he disappeared. No one said anything to me it was clear and obvious what had happened. I paid the bill and left a tip like a lady should. But I will not be coming back to this place ever again! read more

I've been a customer of this Eden Nails location for years, & I've never had a bad experience like I did today. I wanted square nails, and she filed them so short that the skin under my nail is peeking over the top. It looks very unprofessional, like a child did their own nails. Linda rushed through my appointment that the person I went with spent double the amount of time getting a gel manicure. We each selected one color, started at the same time, & I waited a good 25 minutes after my rush job was done. In addition, Carol and Linda were talking in their language for the majority of my appointment. When I commented on it, telling Linda that all the talking was giving me a headache, she chuckled and then a few minutes later continued to have a conversation with Carol. I expect a relaxing self-care day, not to end up with a literal headache. Lastly, when I explained to Carol (at the counter) that I was unhappy with Linda, Linda chimed in from her seat in her own language to argue with me/defend giving both thumbs nubs. HOW RUDE! Carol tried telling me twice that I should've told Linda I didn't want them filed that short. That should've been obvious. If I wanted my thumbs as short as humanly possible, I would've asked. No adult wants to walk out of their gel manicure appointment with nails like this. Extremely disappointed. Look elsewhere if you want quality service. read more

Pretty good for the price! I moved here from Georgia and have struggled to find a good nail salon that isn't excessively expensive. This is my new go to! The salon is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. Not the perfect shape but I am pretty particular. Full set dip nails and pedicure with gel ran me $110, or $130 after tip. Still slightly pricey for what I'm used to, but it seems to be the area more so. I recommend! read more

She took her time to transform my nails and the way she shaped my nail was exactly what I was looking for! Cost: The regular manicure was $15 which is an average price in my opinion. Environment: The establishment is very large- pedicure stations lined both sides of the room and the center was filled with manicure stations. There even a complimentary coffee station on the right alongside a huge fish tank. Aesthetically, the room was very bright, beautiful, and welcoming. Uniqueness: It seems that they sterilize all of the equipment that they use, which is a huge plus. The lady who mans the front desk is quite a mutitasker- she answered calls and sets appointments while also working on someone herself! This place is amazing. I was nervous going anywhere due to covid and tried a different salon first that was so unorganized and not sanitary with all the things going on. THEN I came here. They take your temperature as soon as you walk in and have sanitizer at the front table as well. There are dividers at every nail & pedicure station, each active working station is 6ft apart. Each worker has a mask/face shield on. Not to mention my previous gel manicures would last no more than 1 week, here I can go 3+ weeks and they still look perfect. I really tried to like this place. I've been here 3 times, each time with a different tech to find my favorite, but I cannot justify continuing to give my money here after my experience yesterday. The first time I got a gel set and my nails came out really thick. The tech was pleasant and kind, I think her name was Jess. The last time I was in the tech shaped my nails beautifully and even, just left a big space between the gel fill and cuticle so I left looking like a need my nails filled which was disappointing. Yesterday, Linda did my nails. I almost wanted to walk out because she was in such a bad mood. She rush did a rush job and it shows. I wanted my nails exactly like before in regards to shape. My nails look horrible. They are uneven with dents and lumps. The tips are uneven and unsightly. On top of that, she was rude when I told her I didn't want them squared. Then, her friend came over criticizing the nail color I chose and said it was ugly. Horrible treatment. I can't justify returning. read more

She was quick and no-nonsense but also extremely meticulous and detail-oriented. Not only did my nails look phenomenal but as they were going through the final drying cycle, she came around and kneaded the tension right out of my shoulder and neck! Eden Nails is one of the best nail salons in Monmouth County. Their service is top notch, and definitely a cut above the rest. My mom and I have been going there for manicures and pedicures for the past three years and have yet to be disappointed. It's a rather large salon with plenty of stations, but it does get busy, especially during the weekends, so reservations are recommended. The management is very accommodating and on top of keeping the spa clean - they sterilize all equipment and have great attention to detail. We really appreciate how relaxing the environment is, for how busy it gets, you never feel rushed. They have a wide selection of colors, especially for gel manicures. COVID Opening (day two after opening), very impressed! Called for an appointment, they were booked but they recommended me calling back in case of a cancellation, I did and got in! Super kind staff. Every other seat was filled alongside plastic walls for both manicure and pedicure stations. Sat in a waiting chair for a few minutes and as soon as I stood up someone was there to spray and wipe it down. Everyone wore masks (which isn't comfortable) and signs were all over to keep your space and wash your hands. Great work! read more

In opposition to some of the previous reviews, I really enjoyed this nail salon. I thought the salon was extremely spacious and clean. I was greeted at the door by the owner, Michael, and it turned out the appointment I made was actually with him. He took a quick look at my nails and our appointment began. I originally asked for LCN overlays but he informed me my nails were too short. He then proceeded to craft me the most beautiful nails I had ever seen using only a powder, liquid, and a brush. I was impressed. Thorough out the appointment he was making jokes and I found him very amusing. He even referred to himself as the "nail genius," and I would have to agree. I received the most beautiful manicure I have ever had at this salon. In the end it even ended up costing less than the original thing I had asked for! After mani and pedi I was sitting for just a few moments and one of male technicians started standing behind me in the salon that was now just about emptied - as I put on my jacket he was literally pushing me out to just rush me out to leave. It gets the job done, but the employees need to work on their social skills. Their last "manager" was very rude, but whoever is the manager now, is not much better. Unfortunately, the lady I liked was not there, so I end it up doing with somebody else. She did a great job, no complaints there. But in the middle of my pedicure the manager (i don't really know if she is the manager, but she is the one at the front desk) she told me that I had to stop my pedicure because the lady had another appointment (i had an appointment too). But then the lady said she could finish with me first, so she did. As soon as she was done, I gave a 20% tip and walked to the front desk to pay, I was in a hurry, the manager asked me if I wanted to put the tip on my credit card and I said no, before I could say anything else, she asked me if I need change to tip the lady and again I said no, before I could breathe again, she yells like I was in the parking lot: "SO YOU ARE NOT GONNA TIP HER?" i made an appointment as they require and was seated for my pedicure as soon as i got in. the place itself is very spacious, clean, and relaxing but everything felt very rushed, she barely cleaned my cuticles during my pedicure and not at all for my manicure. i also asked for a very simple design and the lady did a very sloppy job, she was definitely not a perfectionist and they charged me an extra $15 for it. the lady was also constantly sighing while doing my nails which made me a little uncomfortable. i only tried this place for the first time because my other place was all booked and i was in a time crunch but probably will not be going back. read more

Absolutely excellent. It's so hard to find a good nail place in my area and this place went above and beyond. The gel manicure (lasted three and a half weeks!!) was extremely well done. Her attention to detail was impeccable. She took a good 45 minutes for the manicure (did not rush in the slightest) and an amazing pedicure for about 45/50 minutes. The mini back/neck massage was just icing at the cake at the end. They really took their time and had all these little extras I wasn't expecting (hot stones on your feet after the pedicure and a nice neck/back massage). Couldn't recommend it more. I will definitely be back! One note is that I hope they fix the ATM in their shop. It would have been extremely convenient if it had been working, as I always prefer to tip in cash vice the card. read more

Wonderful (and very large) nail salon! They did a great job on my nails. Three coats of Essie's Ballet Slippers + top coat. Nails are shaped really well, and 5 days later now, still no chips. (I just reapplied a top coat at home now, and my nails look fresh again.) I got the upgraded milk/honey pedi. I didn't need my legs massaged, so they changed it to a chair massage for my upper back. I actually didn't have high expectations since this is a nail salon, but the back massage was really good! Amy got in there and worked out my knots! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I got an eyebrow wax, and my eyebrows are a bit thin. Plus they missed a bunch of strays that other places normally clean up with tweezers after the wax. That said though, everything else was really great, and I would definitely recommend Eden Nail Salon! read more

I don't typically get acrylic nails but recently my nails kept breaking and I wanted some nice nails for the holiday. I originally went somewhere different 2 weeks ago and the guy did a terrible job, the were really thick, got wide at the tips, and he even made my thumb nail longer than the other thumb nail. SO with that being said I did some research and came here to Eden to get a new set. The lady was super nice and talked to me that she said I should save some money and not get a new set, that she would just make them thinner and adjust the shape for me. She did a fantastic job! She took a lot of time on the shape because I wanted a coffin shape and she made sure they looked thinner and as natural as she could and I couldn't of been happier. This place will have my loyalty forever! Not only is the place extremely clean, efficient, and the people are personable, they are HONEST. I went in a few times for a gel manicure and pedicure and was very happy with the service. Upon going back for only my 3rd time I left my wedding rings there and they called me multiple times to return them and even gave their personal cell phone numbers! Eden Nail Salon is under new management. While I haven't been there in the past, I heard only good things. As soon as you walk in everyone is very friendly and accommodating. It's clean and we'll maintained. There are about 15 pedicure and manicure chairs. For a Friday night it seemed busy, with about 10 workers and a short wait for 2 appointments. They have a wide range of colors and gel polish to select from. The tools come in sealed bags so you know they are clean. We had 2 appointments and they were ready for us when we arrived. They didn't rush which I appreciate, even though there was a wait. Overall, good experience and I would go back. read more
