Inexperienced. Maybe a trainee. I have to re-direct eqch step. Filed nails crooked. Had to tell her ti fix the nails several times. Unfortunately for the tech and me, she spoke very little english. Awful. Booked a pedicure. The girl barely touched me I booked an upgraded pedicure. She looked annoyed the entire time as she spoke her native tongue-to her co workers. Sounded like they were fighting which was very uncomfortable for me but then again, who knows. Won't be back here. This is my 3rd place I've tried. Guess there aren't any good nail salons in Toms River. What a shame read more

The "technician" who gave me the pedicure seemed knowledgeable, was friendly, and personable

I don't even know where to start. I pulled in the lot was empty nobody in sight I walked in there was a horrible smell like food rotting. I got rushed over to a chair by one of the men that works there I sat down he was pulling at my hand and yelling to the other workers in the salon I showed him the picture of the nails I wanted he said ok no problem. I told him I wanted my nails cut all the way down considering they were very long. He started with the nail drill and went to cutting them down I had to reiterate to him twice to cut them all down short. And then he moved onto my fill followed by the nail drill again to smooth them over I have multiple little cuts and nicks from the machine. And when it was time to start painting my nails he couldn't do the design which is fine, but tell me at the beginning before you start and I show you so I can go to someone who can do it. So I find something quick on Pinterest that I didn't want and wasn't planning on doing. But now my time has been wasted and I'm paying for something I didn't necessarily like or want either. And they offered a massage at the end while your nails are drying extremely painful! My nails are very thick and the shape is funky. $70 down the drain I will not be returning! read more

Wendy did an amazing job on my nails that were previously too thick and uneven. My shape and color are absolutely beautiful I can't stop staring at them. I asked for a gel manicure and regular pedicure and was instructed to, "pick a color" upon entering the salon. I was looking for something similar to the color I had on and selected a pale pink( number 510). The polish on my toes didn't resemble the sample however I didn't complain and proceeded to the manicure. My hand polish clashed with the toe polish and also looked nothing like the sample. The manicurist made several attempts to match the toe polish but was unsuccessful in finding a color and blamed the problem on the company. The only way to match the nails and toes was to put the gel nail polish on my toes. I was not pleased with the neon pink color but at least now everything would match. As I went to pay the bill I was shocked that this salon actually charged me for a gel pedicure which was a huge up-charge from a standard pedicure. After my complaint they reduced the fee by $6.00. As Nail salons exist in practically every strip mall in Toms River I felt that the customer service was lacking and that I would not return to Wendy's salon. I don't recommend this place at all!!! read more

Not my favorite place. They all speak chinese. I tried asking the tech many questions and she could not understand a word i said. Very frustrating!!!! So she had to ask the only English speaking person in the shop the question I asked for a normal French manicure. There are no prices on wall like every other salon. The price was $15.00 which i found very reasonable. After she started to apply the polish, not gel, the polish was so thick. It took forever to dry. I finally had to leave after sitting under the dryer for 30 min!!!!. I wound up smudging my nails in the car. The only good thing about this manicure was the 2 minute back rub i got (I'm sure they were trying to promote that). Will not return. I only went there because it was close and i wanted to try them out. Save yourself time and aggravation. They do not have professional workers. They are all learning there Also it is very chaotic in there. Workers yelling over each other speaking their own language. Terrible experience. Came out of there totally stressed read more

It was a great experience and I really loved the customer service. The manager there was very kind and she was pretty as well. Her nail artistry abilities was also very good. It's a new building compared to the original Wendy's Nail Spa and since its new there's a 20% of promotion on the entire store so I highly recommend this location. read more

I went here a few days ago to get my nails filled. When I walked in there was nobody in the salon which was great because I didn't have to wait. When the tech was filing my nails she was rushing so bad and speeding through entire process. I asked her to do a leopard print on my nail and she didn't understand me so my nails went plain with no design. The way my nails were filed down is terrible, after two days they are already chipping at the corners and you can see my nail growth underneath. When it came time to pay the girl put my card in the machine beeped and said approved and she hit the green button again, so i was charged 2 times!! Luckily the owner was there to void the other charge. I will never recommend this nail salon to anyone.. read more

So I have gone to many nail salons in the area and I can't find one that I would stay true to. Most of them hurt my nails or do a horrible job. If you look at my past reviews I've been extremely harsh in other salons. For the first time ever, I can confidently stand behind this nail salon. They didn't rush through anything and took their time. The male that I went to struggled with getting off the old gel but he didn't rush and kept trying. He never hurt me and did such an amazing job. I came right before closing since I work late, and they took me with no issues and didn't rush me out the door. They have several different colors and types of nail procedures. They had prices on the wall so whoever said they didn't must have missed it. It's a basic salon but I really enjoyed the work that was done. They give a couple minute back massage too which was nice. The funny part it, I pass this salon and never thought to go in. I'm so happy for Yelp because the reviews led me to this place. I will 100% come back! read more
