I used to have a head full of curls until about 7 years ago when all of sudden I looked in the mirror and I realized I lost a LARGE amount of hair and you guessed it, all in the crown!!!! It has taken me 6 years to find a hairdresser that knows how to cut fine and thinning hair. I came across the Marcia Levake's Image center after doing a search on the internet. When I went to the appointment, Marcia asked me what I was looking for in a haircut so I showed her a 25 year old photo of how my hair used to look and asked her if she could give me a haircut that kind of resembled that photo. She took the time to understand what I felt comfortable with and what were the main features of the haircut I really wanted. By the time she was done cutting my hair I was stunned, I don't know how she did it but the haircut she gave me bears a sticking resemblances to the photo I showed her even though I have a lot less hair now. We also discussed hair color and hair products that would make my hair look fuller, with this being said, I want to make it clear that she does not push any products. She has an array of styling aids and tools that will work for almost any type of hair loss and she will help you figure out what works for you. There is a $45 consultation fee to meet with Lisa, which she applies if you make a purchase. During our consultation she showed us only three wigs. The first one was discontinued and not available to order and the other two were not available in the color we wanted and were too big. She then quoted us $630 for a wig that was too big, required alterations and was not available in the color we wanted. When we said we were unsure about ordering the wig because of the color, she was no longer interested in working with us. She also scheduled two clients that arrived during our consultation, and she completely ignored us after that. She was dismissive and indifferent to what we wanted and was a complete waste of time and money.
