I have been to this store various times and tried various different products from them. I've tried…read moretheir bar soaps, their shower oils, their body butters, their shower steamers, their bath bombs, their hand soap, and their laundry detergent. They have many different unique scents that are very nice, and the staff is always helpful and very friendly. HOWEVER.. I have now purchased three separate products which, despite supposedly being crafted from all natural stuff and no chemicals or whatever, leave AWFUL stains in our bathtub due to strong dyes in use in them. A shower steamer and a bath bomb I bought, both colored yellow, both left separate oily, yellow rings around the tub that are extremely difficult to remove, even with scrubbing and elbow grease. A bar of soap I bought also has a hot pink dye in it which has dyed absolutely everything in the shower: the walls, the floor, my hands, the washcloth, the other bar of soap, the shelves.. This does not seem right for something that claims to be all natural. The dyes are too strong and they are literally ruining my bathroom. I don't like feeling like I can't try their products without having to factor in how I will clean them. This will have to change before I would spend more money here.

I really enjoyed the laundry soap so I returned to purchase more soap and scented dryer balls. The dryer balls don't hold the scent for very long. I know I can bring the, back to have them re-scented. They don't control any static so all my clothes come out of the dryer clinging to one another and with pet hair clinging. It's a typical humid time- July in Wisconsin. I can't imagine the static in January when it's dry outside. That's my only 'con' to the store and products.

I used to make homemade soap and I have to say, the featured Sunrise Showers All-Natural Handcrafted Soap is just like making it in your own kitchen laboratory. It's the softest, gentlest soap with all types of aromatic "flavors" and properties. Go for a simple, soothing lavender or invigorating peppermint, or go for soaps with a more specific purpose like Fisherman's Fancy with anise oil that's said to mask the fisherman's human scent and attract fish, or like Beauty and the Bug that contains 7 essential oils that are supposed to repel insects and relieve stings. But it doesn't end with Sunrise Showers (the owner's own line) soaps. There are all sorts of products from butters to fragrances to hair care, and all sorts of quaint gifts even from familiar makers like Burt's Bees and Crabtree & Evelyn. But I would definitely suggest Sunrise Showers products for the all-natural goodness. The shopping bags even list ingredients in popular consumer soaps as opposed to these natural soaps. I don't know about you, but essential oils like coconut, jojoba olive and avocado oils sound better to me than ingredients I can't even pronounce. Add stuff like cocoa butter and shea butter and whatever yummy scents you can imagine and it'll almost be good enough to eat (almost). You can purchase stuff online, but if you like this type of stuff I'd suggest visiting the shop. It's too sweet to pass up. She is very experienced with 15+ yrs and a wealth of knowledge. The salon has new Covid procedures. When you are to arrive to your appointment you text once you're in the parking lot and they will let you know when you can come in. Everyone has to wear a mask while getting their hair done.
