Since this is a Medi spa, I went in with a little bit of trepidation that everyone inside would look very fake, and I would almost feel like an outsider without any fillers or Botox, but that wasn't the case. That was a nice bonus! However, it almost erred on the side of too casual. My aesthetician was wearing a sweatshirt of one of the skin care brands, and with it being a facial, I thought that was just OK, but I think if I was getting a more involved or advanced procedure done, I would find it offputting. When I arrived, they had a bunch of online "paperwork" that they wanted me to fill out, but said I did not have to fill out all of it. I honestly found it a little bit stressful that it wasn't sent in advance, and I worried that my service was cut short by the time I spent filling out the online form. It would have been very lovely to have been offered something to drink during this process. I also felt like my facial/peel was very short, and I did not notice much of a difference. Because it was a cold and snowy day, I would have loved if they would have been offered me a blanket right away when I laid down on the table for my service. She did give me one later in the service, when the moisturizing mask was doing its job. Overall, my complaints are pretty minimal - really more details that would have taken the experience to a higher level. If you'd like an unpretentious medi spa experience, this could be a great place for you! Everyone was very friendly and casual, as well as helpful. All the products they used were Dermalogica, which coincidentally is the brand I am using presently. They even had the higher end of the line products. I love it when a salon doesn't skimp out on the products. I've been to places where they use very generic products, and though the facial is good, you know your facial isn't really top notch because the product that stays in your face wasn't great.
