I cannot say great enough things about my service from the sharp electric. My fuses kept going out in my home and we have not had electricity for over a week. My home warranty sent me three different electricians who could not seem to figure out why the fuses kept blowing out. The gentleman that came was the only one that actually took time to go above and beyond just changing the fuse. Instead he noticed that there were several wires that were loose and he took time to check them and to tighten them. Because of that when he replaced the fuses my electricity is still on and everything is working as it should. This is a honest company and I would definitely recommend them. read more

We've Been using Sharp Electric since moving to Mesa from Phoenix in 2020. We called to make an appointment for some electrical work in our home. Hector arrived on time and we discussed my project on converting numerous ceiling fixtures from incandescent to energy efficient LED. Hector took measurements and worked up and estimate for user provided lighting. Hector returned a week later with the materials to begin our large project. Hector was very efficient, extremely organized and respectful of us and our home. When finished Hector cleaned up the project areas. First off I am in Tempe AZ, not San Francisco. Hector came out this morning and he is wonderful to deal with. We are in an old house with a fuse box and began having intemittant problems. It took him a very short time to remedy the situation and at a reasonable cost as well. So we are good to go until we can upgrade which we plan to do, God willing, about late October when the heat breaks since it takes all day. However that is great to know as well. Some places tell you, you'll have to leave the house for several days. I don't know what the going price is for the repair and service call he did, but it was a lot less than we expected. Hector of Sharp Electric came out to one of our rental properties to help us troubleshoot an open ground wiring issue on one of our circuits. We thought it may be a long shot to find since it could be a loose ground wire in any number of connections within the house wiring. He skillfully deduced the probable outlets and switches that could be the culprits and he went to work systematically checking each of them, and he actually found the loose ground wire connection in one of the wall light switches. The power went out on our kitchen wall, rendering our fridge, coffee maker, and microwave without power. I called Hector and he said he was able to come over within a few hours on a weekend and said he should be able to repair the issue within an hour. Not only did he show up earlier, he repaired our circuit breaker, three light switches and a power problem to our security light all within an hour. He also gave us excellent advise on what would make our house safer and how to go about replacing the older switches in our house. He is a fantastic guy, very professional and exceptionally helpful. Not only was he super response via the Thumbtack app, Hector also utilized texting for keeping me up to date on when he was going to arrive and if I needed anything after our appointment that I could reach out to him. The best part of the visit was the fact that Hector took time out to explain what he was looking for, what was broken, and how he was fixing it. He also offered suggestions on what we could do later down the road to make sure we were utilizing the electricity the best we could. Hector was fantastic! Came out to diagnose some flickering lights in our house, which has aluminum wiring. Amazing service! Hector not only showed up 2 hours early, but got everything done really fast and it looks/functions perfectly. He installed 5 gfci outlets, rewired my breaker box and checked a few other things (as a courtesy since i was unsure about how electricity works lol). He did not have the part on his truck that was needed and instead of just putting the old breaker back in because it was still working, he took the time to go to Lowe's to get a new one to ensure everything was correct. Fantastic service was provided by Hector. I had talked to him previously on the phone before he came out. During that conversation he had given me a time when he would be out and true to his word he was there promptly as promised. He was attentive, professional and courteous. He repaired 2 bathroom exhaust fans and both are working perfectly now. As part of his repair, he covered things up as to not make a mess, and when he was done he vacuumed up everything to leave everything perfectly as when he arrived.
