I reported a smell from my propane tank this morning and service tech called me back within 10 minutes to say he was on his way. Tech kept me advised of everything along the way and had a new tank within a couple hours. Would highly recommend. Thank you Sharp. read more

I have found them to have predatory buisiness practices. Changed my prepay cod account to my wife's name to make it a regular account because I would call when reading was at 25% and they would have me pay for 100 gallons of propane even though there was only room enough for 75 but in actuality they would only give me 60 because there has to be room left for expansion in of the gas in the tank Got charged $180 deposit and they insisted our system had to be leak tested for another $99. Got the tank filled with propane, we waited for a bill that never came. The following month (February), we come home on a Friday night and find we have no hot water and the stove won't light. Our gas was disconnected (no attempts were made to contact us) now with it being a weekend we were looking at an extra charge for emergency service call. I checked the tank and there was a simple escutcheon style lock preventing reattachment of the line. My wife viewed her account online to see why this happened with no notice, paid the bill with my credit card. I removed the escutcheon and hooked the line up, relit my pilot light on the hot water heater and checked stove for propper function; all was good. Fast forward 6 months, arrived home after work to find our tank was removed. read more

Over the past 3 years I have been converting appliances in my home from Propane to electric. At first, 3 years ago I removed an old set of propane logs from a wood burning fireplace. There was an above ground 120 Gallon tank that now supported a propane cooktop only. Each year, Sharp felt it necessary to top it the tank until I told them to stop as we were using very little gas. Now I have converted the cooktop to electric and the full 120 Gallon tank will be removed and I will not get any credit for the full tank of propane. Instead they will adjust the pickup cost and the pump out such that I receive no refund for the unused gas. I look forward to the itemized statement to challenge this unethical practice. read more

They have not reconnected my gas because they want $50, and when I asked them that I still had gas in the tank when they shut it off, they said it was empty. I said, you want $50, to reconnect and $600 if I choose to go with another propane company, how can I afford paying you $600, when you disconnected you understood that I could not afford your gas, how do you expect me to pay you so you leave my yard? This is evil monopolistic kind of business operations with unethical price gauging, mistreatment of black customers and lack of good customer service skills. I really want this company out of my home energy services. I didn't want them anymore, we have always used their propane since 2004, but I hate to have them as utility provider. If you are a non white customer, stay away. I am still waiting for them to remove their tank, I will never put them so they can remove their own tank. Makes no sense. I didn't owe them anything in terms of bills, all paid off. They want money from me so they can remove their own tank from ground. Makes no sense. read more

No customer service when you need it. I had propane delivered every year for several years. I called due a smell of gas. The employee who answered said they will be out that day and will need to get inside. I asked that they call me when they were on their way and gave her my number. I was never called until they were ready to leave my property. The technician said there was no leak. He said he did not need to go inside, and did not explain anything further. I was confused as the other employee said they would go inside and check. I called the next day to confirm before I called another company and the service manager said he would send someone over at no charge to check things out. I later receive a bill for $138 which I questioned as no one ever said I would be billed. They never called me back. They are dishonest people, not transparent. If you have a choice don't choose them! read more
