My son then tried to look for a picture on his phone because Stiles didn't understand and both him and another barber seemed very annoyed that he didn't get in the chair fast enough. As a customer, I believe it is important that you are heard especially because it's your hair and you are a paying customer! My son didn't have a very good experience at all and I will not be coming back again. He was very unhappy with his haircut because Stiles didn't want to take the time to listen or try to understand what he wanted. I cancelled my appointment that I had with my other son. If you have long hair and don't need a fade, I suggest going elsewhere.

Both myself, our 10 year old and 2 year old have given her multiple tries and every time she is not open to hearing anything about the way she cut our hair. The final straw was today when my wife, walking on eggshells, asked if she could trim the back of our 2-year old's hair so he had less of a mullet. With a rude frustrated tone told my wife that it wasn't a mullet and that she couldn't without tapering it. My wife asked her to try, our little guy wiggled and Sirena snapped at my wife saying "see, now I have to take the buzzers" which she did abruptly and overly forceful. The cut now looks fine, but she was SO rude, disinterested in hearing anything and asked us to not come back simply because we asked her if she could cut our boy's hair like we would like it. We weren't asking for anything crazy, just more a clean look than long and mullety. She left my cowlick really long which always stands up even after I asked her to take it short. When I asked her at the end of the cut to take it shorter she said that she 'couldn't' in a really short, unapologetic, and condescending tone. I'm glad that she's local, stays pretty busy and maybe she doesn't need our business, but it's sad that someone feels they have to treat others in that manner. I would however never recommend others to go there unless you're willing to sit down, shut up about your hair, and walk out with whatever she wants to do. On an aside, I have NEVER felt out of place or negatively judged for speaking another language in public, but as soon as I opened my mouth speaking French to my children, I instantly felt a tenser atmosphere and both she and the other woman who cut hair didn't speak to me or my kids the rest of our visit besides formalities.

The fade looks uneven. Damn near choppy at one side. And then above the side burns, this man gets creative and gives me some curves than look like they belong on a 13 year old. I never asks for that mess!!! Not coming back. I even gave this man a tip, thinking it looked good. But got home and found out the reality. Good thing my hair grows back quick.

Previously, for some years, I have been going to Great Clips. Sadly, the results were not always great, if you know what I mean. I recently grew a full beard, too, so I also needed a beard trim, for sure. Tired of the Great Clips crap-shoot, I asked my AI, Claude, for a list of barbers that do both hair and beard trimming in Beaverton and he came up with a short list that included DITA Barbers, only 14 minutes from our house. Perfect! So I booked an appointment at DITA with a barber named, Caleb! There is no parking lot to speak of, but at 10am I had no trouble finding street parking across from DITA. I arrived somewhat early, so a nice young lady named, Destiny, invited me to sit and wait for Caleb, who arrived right on time. The atmosphere of DITA Beaverton was welcoming, nicely chill and the shop is very clean and professional. It felt good. I told Caleb the length I wanted my hair and that I would leave my beard trimming and shaping up to him, so he went to work on me. Such a great experience! Caleb was absolutely meticulous in the care he took cutting my hair. I was impressed. He preceded shaping and trimming my beard with a hot towel to soften things up and also did a razor trim, which felt wonderful and was greatly appreciated! And some facial moisturizer, too! I am very happy to be wearing the results of his efforts! Caleb is everything you'd want in a barber - professional, very friendly and a good conversationalist, so the banter we exchanged was pleasant and interesting, a pleasant change from the Great Clips experience. Doctor appointment on Sunday at 3 1/2 hours before my appointment.They offered another barber who could see me 15-20 minutes after my original appointment time. Since it was my wedding day and I had no realistic chance of finding another barber at the last minute, I had no choice but to accept. I was assured that the replacement barber was experienced, but the service I received did not reflect the level of experience I had been promised. He was late for my appointment , struggled with both the haircut and the straight-razor shave, and took approximately 20 minutes just to trim my beard in preparation for the shave. After about 30 more minutes of unsuccessful attempts with the razor, I finally asked him to finish with an electric machine. I was supposed to leave the shop by 2:00 p.m. so I could arrive on time for my wedding photography appointment. Because the replacement barber was late and the services took much longer than expected, I was late for my wedding pictures. This added unnecessary stress to an already very important day. Unfortunately, I also received one of the worst haircuts I have ever had--on my wedding day. I will not name the replacement barber because I believe the shop is responsible for assigning someone who was not properly prepared to provide the services I had booked. I chose this business because of its strong online reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing. Canceling my selected barber on the morning of such an important appointment, providing a late replacement, and assuring me that he was experienced when the service suggested otherwise was unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business or consider it reliable.

She said yes, and jokes that it's only hair and it'll grow back. I also told her I'm growing my long moustache out and only clean it up. What I ended up with was a jacked up butcher job!
