Been going to Kyle for over a year. From my first haircut I knew I found my new barber. He also is my son's barber of choice and my son is very particular about his cut. Shop is clean with some of the most random music playing in the background. From what I can tell, majority of the customers getting cuts seem to be regulars. I've been going to this barbershop for a while now and the man I go to every time for my hair and beard is barber "J". He's not only a professional artist, but someone you would wish upon as a barber. Someone you can shoot the breeze with while getting cleaned up. He looks out for you and appreciates all his clients. I always stand up from his chair and walk out the True Heart Barbershop door feeling fresh and looking good (and for me that's saying something). The vibe at True Heart is above anything I've ever experienced before and I've seen such a wide range of clientele at the location and they all leave happy and have the same experience. I'm really hesitant to post a review because I want to gatekeep Ashley, but I need to give credit where credit is due. I have the pickiest 12 year old in the world when it comes to his hair and he's never once been happy with a haircut. Which leads to him only getting his haircut maybe once every 6 months. He was ecstatic and couldn't stop smiling when we got to the car. (He had to play it cool while we were still in the shop) From a mom point of view. Great shop. Clean. Nicely setup. Good vibe. If i could give them 0 stars i would. I made 5 haircut appointments at 4 pm and i got a text from joe telling me he was running late and to come at 4:30, i arrived at 4:20. He wasn't running late at all, he had someone else in his chair. I waited patiently for my turn but after he was finished with the other person, he came up to me and told me to give him another 30 minutes to get someone else in real quick. My party was very upset with joe and felt very disrespected since we already had appointments for dec 30th at 4pm. We even rescheduled our business meeting for another day just so we could get haircuts, but we didn't because true heart barbershop is a bunch of bitches who get mad at their customers when they come in late, but expect their customers to wait around all day just to get a trash ass haircut. Very unprofessional, i wouldn't waste my time or money going here ever again. read more

I had my first haircut in over a year, thanks COVID, and it was fantastic. Shannon did an excellent job. He has a great shop that has that old school barber vibe with a little hot rod mixed in for kicks. It doesn't hurt that Shannon has his old Chevy truck parked out front. Finding a new barber isn't easy, and I had the same one for over 15+ years until he moved pre-pandemic. I've tried a few places since, and it wasn't until now that I've finally found my new shop. Recently was a walk in, great customer service and unique vibe as a barbershop. However the lady that cut my hair that day left me with wanting more out of my haircut. I asked for a mid taper and she ended up giving me a sub par mid fade. 2 totally different haircuts. Also no razor blade finish my line up is already growing back within 2 days. charged me for a $40 skin fade when she didnt even use a double 0 on me. Also was not apologetic for giving me the wrong haircut. (I even asked her if she knew what a taper was in the begining of my cut, she seemed appalled by the question) Somehow still gave me a whole different haircut then i asked for. Taper and a Fade are 2 different types of haircuts. I'm sure they have great amazing barbers but i was really disappointed with my cut. read more
