Jason did an amazing job bringing both of our knife sets back to life, and at a very fair price. Our Henckels set is over 20 years old and had never been professionally sharpened, and our Shun set had developed some significant etching on the blades. We honestly thought we were at the point of replacing them. Thankfully, we found Jason here on Yelp and decided to have them sharpened instead. We couldn't be happier with the results! Not only is he highly skilled, but he's also a wealth of knowledge. He took the time to explain how to properly care for our knives, showed us how to properly use the honing tool, and assured us that, with regular sharpening and maintenance (he recommended every 6 months), both sets should easily last our lifetime. I love my Shun chef's knife, perhaps more than is healthy for an inanimate object. I love it so much that even as its once thrilling sharpness waned, my love endured.
