Anna was very sweet and did try to correct the styling when she realized I was unhappy, which I appreciated, but ultimately the experience did not feel like the specialized curly service I had booked and paid for. UPDATE: The owner reached out after my experience and offered me a complimentary appointment with another curly hair specialist. I decided to give the salon another chance, and I'm very glad I did. My second experience was completely different. I was extremely happy with my hair and, just as importantly, I left feeling educated about my curls and confident that I could recreate the results at home. My stylist took the time to explain the techniques and products that worked best for my hair, which was exactly what I had hoped for from the beginning. I really appreciate the owner listening to my concerns and making an effort to make things right. While my first experience was disappointing, I'm very happy with how the salon handled the situation and with the service I received the second time around.
