We recently had our kitchen stuff sharpened too, so I got a chance to see the whole process. My stuff was sharpened to perfection, and I took the knives home and said nothing to my husband to see if he could notice the difference. He commented how the butcher knife (the first one he used and one we rarely touch) was so much sharper than the others. I told him I'd gotten them sharpened, and he was so impressed he wants them done on the regular now. Rick was super polite about me having to cancel our first appointment, and kept me updated on where he would be since I was going to an appointment he'd already had scheduled.
