Can't imagine how they could improve and so ... 5/5. Earlier quote just looked at my drive and quoted a cost to seal coat. Shattuck, OTOH, measured it precisely, quoted a price that was less than 70% of the other guy's, made sure to be clear on what was needed (remove anything that could interfere with the coating beforehand), did their own cleaning once they arrived (a very thorough one) and then treated the entire driveway promptly and to a high standard of quality. I am not pleased with the driveway it is very sloppy. They sprayed my grass line and you can see where they had to brush the coating. The two gentlemen seemed to be rushed although it was one of the hottest days this week. But they could have rescheduled if need be. read more

I would pay a premium for folks who communicate clearly, show up on time, do good work and make it all seamless with great email updates etc. With Shattuck Paving I did not pay a premium at all. I think it is just how they roll. Highly recommend. read more

My wife and I would like make note of the exceptionally kind and generous services of all the folks at Shattuck Paving. From Ron, Michelle, Brett and all the guys who worked on our driveway I have nothing but high praise and thanks for what they have done for my wife and I. We are senior citizens who moved to Milford last September and hired a contractor to build a new 2 car garage for us. We used all of our liquid cash to hire this person and, to make a long story short, he ripped us off and we lost approximately $20,000. We were left with bare walls and a roof and spent 6 months trying to get our money back or have him come back to finish the job. In June 2019 we found out that he left the state and went to Florida. The NH Attorney Generals office tracked him down in Florida and has filed a formal complaint that he must now answer. We have received unbelievable support from local contractors who have donated their time and services to us to complete what should have been done by the unscrupulous contractor. During this process of trying to pick up the pieces we contacted Ron at Shattuck Paving asking if he could come and look at our driveway, that had been torn up during the excavation process, and see what he might be able to do to help us. Ron showed up one morning and after looking over what needed to be done announced to us that his company was going to do the entire project for free for us! The extent of his generous offer and kindness has overwhelmed us and we are so grateful that Shattuck Paving stepped up to help us at a time when we had no other options. Over the course of 2 days the crew came and prepped the site and then paved everything the second day. Their work is of the highest quality and the crew members were super professional and pleasant to be around. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Chris Krol Excavation who did the excavation work for the Shattuck crew and Brox Industries who supplied the asphalt to complete the project. Without all of them working so well together this project could not have gone as well as it did. This company is really great. They did an excellent job first tearing up old pavement and then putting down the special gravel mix I had chosen. The driveway is quite long and now looks beautiful as the gravel looks much better than pavement with our large colonial home. The guys have great personalities, easy to communicate with, and after one rainy weekday , they even came back on a Saturday to complete the job. Highly recommend! read more

We had our driveway redone last year and we were beyond pleased with the results! We had to wait until this year to get it sealed after it aged and settled. Working with Michelle was a joy to get it scheduled. Due to the rainy weather we had this spring it kept being put off, which was fine as we wanted it done right, as they did. Alter rescheduling a couples due to rain, it was finally done on July 3rd. We were away and we came home...we were couldn't believe how great it looked, it looked great before...but now its beautiful. There was not a drop of sealer on the grass nor the house.
